Seems that one big thing we're still missing is a confirmed link between these "well poisoners" and Tekmira or their partners. Where did these guys go, are there still 249 poisoners running around, or did the operation cease when one got caught?

Where's the follow up on the poisoner that spilled the beans, I wonder. Did the villagers kill him? I can't find anything newer than the info in your OP, and the picture of him, well there's really only one.

You'd certainly think they'd be testing wells and reporting results somewhere in the alleged areas.

I didn't see you quote this from your Liberian Observer link, but thought it important to add, since it implies this wasn't only a ragtag bunch of miscreants poisoning wells:

Just maybe this whole story was BS so everyone would look the other way while more innocuous vaccines or other shots were being delivered containing formaldehyde, or maybe it's been buried because of the one guy's blunder.
