He told me the fundamentals are sound and tried to encourage me to invest in the market. He told me he has a client that called him this week and wanted to pull out his money because he's been reading his bible. Canadian homes are 40% to 60% overvalued across the nation while wages have been stagnant for almost 10 years. So if the housing market in Canada collapses, it will be a bad one. Obama is punishing them just like Russia with the oil carsh. |

Quoting: TripleH [link to www.bloomberg.com] In reality, it is because there are fewer people in the job market. The X-Generation is a very low population number.... So it just makes sense for the # of people working to be a lower number. And actually that is bad news for the market...since now the FED has more cover to keep on the road to end QE |

The Årtist User ID: 44124412 United States 10/16/2014 09:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is a correction market. Once the DJIA hits 15500 (roughly) they will all say the market has "corrected". A correction is a 10% drop from the recent high. That's what we're looking at. After a correction the market traditionally evens out and either stays around that or begins to regain. However, with everything else going on; ebola, housing, unreported unemployment, food price increases, and things like the Baltic Dry Index showing that shipping prices barely cover the expense of shipping in the Baltic (meaning they're not making any money).... with all of that I think we're going to blow right on by the "correction" of 15500 and it will keep dropping. If that happens, WORRY. But if it's manipulated in such a way were it evens out around 15500 then doom off. And what I mean by evens out is STAYS around 15500 for a long time, not just a day or two. It could hit correction and sit there for a couple of days / a week then start tanking again. So when I say evens out and stays there for a while I mean for months. RAGE |

Everything in business is baseD on growth. More products, more customers, more sales, etc. Government is based on growth too. More citizens, more houses, more people, more services which nets more TAXES. Well, if the population decreases, we got issues... Business and Government don't know how to function with status quo or decreasing customers. Business just goes out of business because they can't handle fewer customers. Can the government go out of business to restore balance? Last Edited by TheToolMan on 10/16/2014 09:38 AM "My mom said the only reason men are alive is for lawn care and vehicle maintenance." |
