Don't get me wrong, I think it's smart on their behalf but it makes me wonder if they never could get an official confirmation from the CDC that the patient tested negative...

Our hope is that we will have the “all clear” by late afternoon on Tuesday, October 21st."

I thought the CDC gave the "all clear" when the patient was allowed off of the ship with "negative" test results.

I agree. Why do they have to wait until Tuesday afternoon?

Yes I received a automated call from the superintendent tonight around 6:30 tonight. I later heard on the news that the New Castle Schools (which is about 15 miles from here)
had students or staff on the ship. They were letting them come back to school. Stating the "Health Dept" had given them the ok?

FYI, that link is gone now.

i don't think the passengers on Carnival Magic ever got off the boat.
Carnival Magic came into port on Sunday loaded resupplies, and
then went back out to sea on an extended voyage to keep the passengers for 30 days of Quarantine.

And 99.99% of the public thinks everything is okay.

If the media are the only ones putting out stories about this, its likely that its just made up.

Until i hear from a authentic individuals, and not traitors, I will assu,e that OP is right.

there was absolutely no evidence, also, that 4000 people
showed up at the terminal area for the 5 p.m. departure of
the Carnival Magic, on Sunday, either.

Another media person, how strange.
It's almost as if the entirety of the passenger list and staff were made to sign confidentiality agreements in exchange for $$.

That's more than believable that they signed the
confidentiality agreements to get that $200 we saw
as a "bonus" on the news. It is really, odd, tho
that there weren't some video of this mob of people
getting off the boat with N95 masks on their faces!
Strange news reporting these days...very disturbing.

I'm NOT sure about how many people were on this
ship--I did see 4,000 at one point.
Now...tell me how ANY confidentiality agreement
signed by 4,000 people is going to also guarantee
that NONE of them will use FB or some social media
to report their experience?
You can't gag 4,000 people who have the electronic
equipment assumed with the economic level of people
who can afford to take a cruise.
My thought...and MAN...hope I'm wrong, but I think
these people are still on one of the Carnival Magic
cruise ships--probably to keep them in a forced
quarantine out at sea. It's just too incredibly
risky let 4,000 potentially ebola-exposed people back
into circulation.
The red flag on this is that Mexico KNOWS ENOUGH
ABOUT THE REAL TRUTH to keep those people stuck on
that ship and turn them away.
Also...it would be very easy to jam cell phone and
computer links to that many people if they are still
on a ship....They may not be on the ORIGINAL SHIP
--they may have docked and tranfered them to another
Carnival Cruise ship that wouldn't be able to be
I.D.'d with its call numbers.
Just sayin.

Just talking to a friend who claims that not one of the 4,000 Ebola victims in Africa smoked cigarettes. When i thought it, i don't recall seeing any of these dieing people with a smoke in their mouth in any of the released pictures..


i would be more interested to know the percentage of Ebola cases who took the vaccine just prior.
