Have wars increased since 1900? Wow you bet!

At first glance at the graph above you could be fooled into thinking conflicts are decreasing which of course they are but consider, 2014 is not included and with a significant rise in conflicts this year, for example, ISIS, Israel and Hamas, Russia and Ukraine, Civil war in Yeman we can expect 2014 to show another increase and we are a considerable long way off the relatively peaceful first ten years of this graph!
