OP, sounds like she's discouraged. She's 92, she's a font of historical information, about things we read about but that she actually lived.
Somewhere out there is some graduate student in your town who would love to record and interview her about her life, she's a living font of information, valuable, unique information.
You could match that graduate student to your gram and it would be a win/win for both. The student would be really having an experience that is invaluable and your gram would look forward to the student coming to talk to her.
