This is my last word on it. This issue is so ridicuosly divisive, and the matter is simple.

Someone brought up Corrie Ten Boom. Corrie was an amazing woman for Christ. She also came from a reformed theology persepective, which is the basic Catholic teaching that we are in the Millennium. It is a spiritualization of the end times events.

Christ literally fulfilled every prophecy of His first coming. I believe He will literally fulfille every event of His second coming.

Paul revealed the Rapture, that is why some believers in that time were worried they might have missed it, and he had to correct them and let them know that the restrainer, aka The Holy Spirit, had to be removed before the man of lawlessness would reveal himself.

The early church taught that Jesus would come back for His body, which is a group unlike any Christians before or sense, before the time of Jacob's trouble. The teaching was not taught afte rht eformation of the Catholic church because they are an apostate church and they withheld the Bible from even being read. For over a thousand years.

The reformers did preach grace and Christ crucified alons as payment for our sins. The still clung on, though, to the Catholic doctrine of Amillenniallism. They continued to spiritualize everything, and it was incorrect.

The tribulation is for the JEWS, it is the time of Jacob's trouble. Christian's are facing persecution and tribulation, but what we see is not God's wrath, we are living what Jesus taugh, that His followers would be hated for His name. We here in America are lulled into a sense of falsehood, but everywhere else in the world, Christians have it really, really tough. It is coming to America very soon.

The point is, no pre Trib Rapture believer believes that we are not going to see any persecution. America could fall and I will die today for Christ if called to. BUT, the Tribulation is a seven year period in which most of the world will be obliterated by GOD's WRATH. Jesus Himself teached to pray that we escape all these things....was He wrong?

Paul didn't teach to be a prepper, he taught to comfort each other with these words, that we would be caught up to meet Christ in the air, the dead will rise first.

If the Rapture happens after the Trib, think about this....those who are saved would go up, then come right back down, and then Jesus would come down and destroy all the evil people. There is then no one left to go into the Millennium and to repopulate the earth!

Post Trib is basically twisted and spiritualized Biblical teaching and every time I debate a person on it, they always get angry and call me an escapist. Jesus SAID I should be an escapist. We are HIS body, and He is not going to send His wrath on Himself.

But believe as you wish. If you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you, you will be caught up regardless.

Yes, the rapture and Tribulation are right around the corner- not way out there. Probably will occur by 2017-18 according to Giza Pyramid but may occur before this month's over.

It will happen while everything is still "day to day life as usual" on earth. People will be going about their business as usual..." Eating, drinking, getting engaged, getting married, sleeping in bed, working in the field or at their jobs, ect.

It will happen suddenly and take unsaved people by surprise like a thief breaking in. But we believers are expecting it with eager anticipation of meeting Jesus and we are watching for the signs so we won't be caught by surprise.

Get right with Jesus now so you'll be taken when it starts. Be part of the large, innumerate crowd of people from every nation suddenly and simultaneously entering heaven at the 6th seal rapture (Rev. 7:9-17), just as the Tribulation is beginning. (Rev.6:12).

Jesus said he would shorten the tribulation. How could he do that if it is a specific time period and he doesn't know the end date?

Only by shortening the experience of the tribulation.

In essence, he pushes the start of it and the events of it back - compressing them in time against the end time.

We could be past the seven year official start time.

I think that's why it is also expressed as fractions of time.

The actual experience of tribulation could break down into days only.

This is also why the appearance of Jesus could come as a surprise, and there will be no point from which you can count down seven years until Jesus appears.

Mormon's believe that they are god's, that Jesus and Satan are brothers and that they will each get their own planet. They also don't believe in the cross.

I am a literal Bible believing Christian. The Bible teaches that Jesus will destroy the antichrist and his armies at the second coming and set up a kingdom for a thousand years, ruling from Jerusalem. Those left at the end of the Trib, the remaining Jews and those saved by Christ during the Tribulation, will repopulate the earth. Christ will restore the earth to a perfect form again. It is all in Revelation, in plain speech.

Of course, if you spiritualise it all, then you may believe we are in the Millennium.

(If you read this OP, this is what I meant in my earlier posts. I have studied eschatology for over a decade, and the more I am on GLP the more I see that people watch a few Youtube videos and they consider themselves prophecy experts.)

Thanks OP- I have never read that about corrie Ten Boom.... Your source for that? I just have taken note of preachers teaching this and I'm just not sure.... Have told others about it not making sense for Jesus to come back down and then go back up, etc. I'm with ya.... It's just that I'm not sure the wrath of a God happens until the abomination. But if I'm wrong, it will be a happy surprise. And yes, the Trib is really for Jews and unbelievers and those who are lukewarm.....sometimes I fear I am.

Those who were killed and beheaded for there faith are already in heaven with JESUS Christ and will be returning with him.....

I read somewhere that someone told her about the Rapture, and either they told her wrong or she misunderstood. But she told some people that they would not suffer, and then great suffering came and people turned aginst the faith. So Corrie decided that the Rapture was evil, just based on that. She was not a theologian, she didn't get the facts straight, but she blamed it all on a teaching she didn't know. Mad respect for what she suffered for Christ, but that gave her no right to slander people or trash a teaching she did not study.

Since there are antichrists now in the world, we should remember to bring their deeds into the light and expose them for who they are. The deceiver (devil) conspires against those who are in Christ. We should not be unaware of his schemes but expose them. Work while it is still day. Even after looking into pre-trib & post-trib & all the in between for years, I'm can't say with certainty which. I just know, trust in the Lord, and don't worry so much when you will leave the earth and by what method.
