Is it me or does the NYPD often hit as many innocent bystanders as they do criminals???

I wonder how the administration will classify this? A poorly attempted tree felling?

True, but at the same time, the sidewalks are always packed, and if a guy is hitting other officers with an ax, you gotta take him out immediately, you can't worry about repositioning yourself first before shooting to avoid possibly hitting pedestrians. To me they get some slack in a situation like this.

Not sure at this point if this applies to this NY incident.

It would be nice if issues like this would be brought up by our current or soon to be politicians, but I guess when there are no votes or money to speak of in it for them, its not worth their time.

Just like the mass shootings, there will be copycats. It will blow over when the media finds something else sexier to report.

Expect 3-5 more now, at least.

A long time ago in China, a dynasty arose which was islamic by bent, and didnt trust the people it governed, it ordered that one knife was to be available to very four families for cooking purposes.
After much injustice, segregation, rapine, pillage and the general thing that corrupt bureaucrats and politicians get into, the people revolted anyway, and rose up against the tyrannical rules, laws and ever present threats of violence against them, and use wood in many forms to take down their oppressors.
Moral of the story is simple, i really doesn't matter how advanced the weaponry of the governing state is, and how many laws are passed banning anything that is sharp or pointy, when the populace of any given oppressed majority reaches criticality, then blunt trauma will overwhelm the actually small numbers of security forces, no matter how well armed. IMO

By the way i am not condoning islam, i am just saying, the more and more laws being passed to make every one a criminal, and the police granted power of death over any citizens life, will backfire. The solution is simple, current laws just need to be enforced, and liberal judges ousted, and self-serving vexatious layers debarred, imo

Lone wolves are a great tactic to fight the power structure.

I don't support unprovoked attacks, but what do we know about this? Have we forgotten Chris Dorner, the former LAPD officer who attacked the police? He had inside knowledge about LAPD that we all lack. He was a lone wolf.

People post plenty of threads about bad police shootings and unprovoked killings by the police. The police are dressing in combat gear now. The pressure is building for everyone and the New World Order controlled USA govt is making it all happen. People are being denied water in America now.

Who is to say that these attacks are not Manchurin candidates, pre-programmed to attack, which results in a tighter clampdown by the power structure.

We can look forward to a lot more of this.

Truth be known, I'm at bus stop, my back is to nobody. Try to avoid seats with anyone behind me, and if must be so, I take a good look for my decision point to take that seat.

Like someone else said, situational awareness not a bad thing these days.
