Hey everyone I have been coming to this site for years and I'm on it reading all the great info multiple times daily. I came across this news on facebook the site name is cheesy sounding but it is a real local news site that reports news as it happens. Some of the comments on Facebook were interesting. I find it strange that it was tested and the result is that it is and unknown pesticide? People are commenting that they have seen this in other areas. There are even some half joking comments blaming the gov for dropping a load of Ebola. Brooksville in the Tampa Florida area. I'm about 45 minutes from there. There's always some strange stuff going on in this area.

I love posts like this assuming everyone in the world knows where "Brooksville" is. Even reading the linked article just says Brooksville. The only Brooksville I know of is in Florida. Its a small town though. Is that where this happened?

Yeah I wanted to edit the title to include that but I am not registered. So that's why I added the location in my second post. That is where it happened though. What is also weird is that it's the last story that they have reported when they usually report stuff all day including every car accident that happens in the county. Maybe they were told to be quiet?

So still no update I asked the site about it and why there has been no activity on the site since this story. This was their response. "Still waiting on a report from officials. They haven't release any new details." They also finally posted a new story after I mentioned the silence. I will continue to monitor and see what story the "officials" come up with.

Interesting, I was born and raised in Brooksville, and I have might quite a few conspiracy theorists from that area and nearby Spring Hill. Kind of interesting considering how podunk rural it is.

The above statement is correct. It was a cropduster malfunction cased by a bird strike. The spilled chemical is a non hazardous copper solution used on fruits.
