Still getting info together to post. Meanwhile, the NRC hotline said all further info needs to come from Region II office in Atlanta. Check out this document about safety concerns expressed...someone may have dropped the ball:

These are a few songs off of Sufjuan Stevens album titled Illinoise , it even has a picture of superman on the cover

Sufjuan Stevens is from Detroit and has never lived in Illionois as far as I can tell. The idea for the album had something to do with him writing a song or album for all 50 states.

Enjoy the CANCER from the SAFE nuclear power !
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63278059

Chernobyl released 100 million curies.
Fukushima released 20 million curies.
Nuclear weapons testing released 200 billion curies.

Coal power in the United States releases the equivalent of one Fukushima every 2 years.

Worldwide coal power releases the equivalent of one Fukushima every 3 months.

When you look at the statistical facts, nuclear power is indeed SAFE when compared to nuclear weapons and coal energy.

Sorry if this was posted already. Video is from
Dutchsince. He does a great job checking on the
weather patterns over that area....looks like the
east-wind will carry whatever that "cloud" callers
reported over the Peduka, Kentucky area. If I were
in that area, I would be trying to get as much
info as possible. Doesn't sound very good at all!

20 minute release according to comment I posted above. You would be amazed how far this shit can travel.

Anyone have any links to live cams around this area?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63827444

How far can it travel?
 Quoting: RadChick

Depends on wind speeds and duration of leak, someone is working on it. For 20 minutes it blew right through the neighborhood next to it. Now the 'active leak' is contained to the building. But from the vids, it looked pretty bad.

From OptimalPrediction: "It was noted to be moving west from Metropolis. Wind maps indicate that the wind is from the southeast, so the plume would be moving northwest. Cape Girardeau MO and St Louis MO, or points in between, would seem to be where it is headed. And it won’t stop there."

That's all we have atm.

Re: ALERT: Nuclear Accident in Illinois tonight at Honeywell plant, shelter in place
Here's a list of songs from the Sufjuan Stevens album Illinoise , a lot of very strange titles about drones , ufos , Egypt , serial killers , occultist , zombies ext. Sufjuan isn't from Illinois and as far as I can tell he's never even lived there. The idea for the title has something to do with him wanting to write an album for all 50 states but for some reason he's only done Illinoise and Michigan , his home state , and the idea for the supposed 50 state project was talked about in '06 so he's not making a lot of progress with that. Btw , southern Illinois for those of you who don't know is also known as Little Egypt.

"Concerning the UFO Sighting Near Highland, Illinois" 2:08
2. "The Black Hawk War, or, How to Demolish an Entire Civilization and Still Feel Good About Yourself in the Morning, or, We Apologize for the Inconvenience but You're Going to Have to Leave Now, or, 'I Have Fought the Big Knives and Will Continue to Fight Them Until They Are Off Our Lands!'" 2:14

Depends on your perspective. The nuclear industry can not make any type of private sector profit. Not the power generation, not the medical technology, not the weapons, etc.

So you might as well put processing plants near navigable rivers so you can say you at least tried to save the tax payers a few bucks on transportation costs.

live in the area?... go to the health food store... get some baby formula in a tin... read the back and/or the front ... since 2012 they now add stable iodine... drink some every morning and night to protect yourself from iodine and your thyroid....

do these things until you get the all clear....

Well I was raised in area of Utah, someone or thing decided to put depleted Uranium in our parks, trails, etc., around 1949-1954. To see what it did?

First sign is depression in ALL age groups, eye problems, headaches, NAUSEA, severe weakened Immune System. Neighbors started dying of rare cancers, diseases of all types, even the once rarest of all ALS..

Now, at 64, been ill since 1957, heart attack, and all kinds of ongoing help for bad immune system.

When these faceless Corp.s release this shit, doubt it is ever by mistake? Just more Pop. Control... But do it in someone elses fucking backyard, we have already GIVEN and Given.

"I left him my phone number if things start to get weird in the following days; people getting sick, reports of car damage (pitting of glass/paint) or whatever strangeness may occur. With a company like Honeywell, you never can tell what surprises await.

Anyone who lives in the area that had cars parked outside last night should check their windshields and the paint on their cars for pitting. If there is damage, even if it is very mild, DO NOT TOUCH THE CAR. Any breathing problems or other unusual symptoms in citizens or their children should seek immediate treatment at the nearest emergency room, and then find a good lawyer. I would recommend Erin Brockovich. This is no joke.

A situation like the blatant disinformation that occurred last night surrounding this incident, as well as pretty much every nuclear or chemical related accident that has ever happened in the history of the world, is precisely why you must take your own health and welfare seriously, and not rely on dishonest corporations and the media telling you what they think you need to know – or not know."

Nowadays to boil water with a nuke reactor is objectively tard. Italian is the smartest people all over the world and understood this since Chernobyl disaster pretending from our government to stop with that idiot system only good to produce mass destruction weapons, bad ills and death for civilians. When other people will understand this then they will be able to tell to be as smart as Italians...
