Nowadays to boil water with a nuke reactor is objectively tard. I just got off the phone with the Sheriff's office. He said as far as what they have been told by Honeywell, there was NO escape of any caustic substances beyong their property. I explained that doesn't jive with what people in the surrounding areas have reported (metallic taste, nail polish smell).

He said "I don't know why Honeywelll wouldn't tell people if it had escaped." I told him "Because they will be on the hook for paying the medical bills for everyone in the community, plus the EPA fines for non-containment, which can be hundreds of thousands of dollars."

He was not aware they have been fined for lying about this in the past, 3x.

I left him my phone number if things start to get weird after this, people get sick, reports of car damage (pitting of glass/paint) or whatever.

Caustic? since when a substance released by a reactor is dangerous only if caustic? this is the weirdest thing I hear in last 10 years

I will have more info shortly. The health concern is Rads + chems that were released, at the very least it appears from reports in the community that a toxic cloud blew through the surrounding neighborhood.

I went to college in the area (for what it's worth) & the media is very sparse I know. I did see a comment [link to www.westkentuckystar.com] here where the person said it was HF (Hydrogen Floride) that was the cloud of smoke...

What was Obama doing in metropolis il ? There census says the town only has only 6000 people
