Christmas and Halloween displays jammed together now?

yeah I noticed the same thing OP. my neighbors put up halloween lights and leave them up for Christmas. Store displays go straight to christmas after halloween now.

All a waste of money.

Yes I went to Wal-Mart yesterday first time in a long time to buy twine and personal lubricant. When you walk in, it is like 10 isles of Halloween costumes and lights. Then you walk back where the garden and outdoor grill area is and it is a giant disturbing christmas area with like a hundred christmas trees and mechanical santa clauses.

Here is my guess: retail is so screwed because food stamps don't buy decorations and the US is in a full depression they are throwing ANYTHING you might buy out there to see if you bite. Because they aren't going to make it to next dhristmas. It's OVER. NO MORE.

We combat Halloween decorations by putting up our Christmas stuff early. We're almost done getting the Christmas up now, to scare the trick or treaters.

Oh and by the way, thise Halloween isles were completely full like nobody even looked at them let alone buy anything. Guess what this year's favorite costume is? Billy and Mary's SCHOOL CLOTHES because their parents are BROKE. Don't be surprised when Trick-O-Treaters want a goddamn loaf of bread. This economy is so beyond fucked it is unsaveable.
