I dunno. It's in the swamp.

IMO, Bama will win, but it will be closer than the spread.
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

Bama never covers the spread in the big games. I always take the points and the opponent v. Alabama in the big games. LSU is one of those games and I roll with the Tide.

I'd say Auburn will put up a good fight, but no way are they leaving Tuscaloosa with a win.
Don't fool yourself into thinking they really beat down Bama last year in Auburn. It was a mistake with 1 second left that won that game. Bama should have left Auburn with a win and you can believe Saban is tired of hearing about it and wants his revenge.

I hate to say so, but AU has a good, fast team. They have a shot at the playoffs, but to get there they have to beat Bama at home in the Iron Bowl. No easy task. You're right, it will be the best SEC and one of the best NCAAFB games of the year (assuming both teams continue winning).

I know many of you couldn't care less about College Football, so just ignore this thread. We don't need your bonehead comments.

For those of you that love College Football, who do you like this week (betting wise)?

I'll tell you this, Bama covers the spread against LSU (6.5 pts). I'd expect something in the range of 31 - 18.

UCLA Looks like money this weekend.

Louisville too...

West Virgina...

and I could see NC State (at home) upsetting Georgia Tech.

Sorry LSU, you sink in the rankings this week!

ROLL TIDE!

LSU is gonna open a can of whoop arse on the Tide. Bama will go home with their crying towels filled with tears and SNOT.

Put it all on Oregon to cover vs Utah. Oregon's loss and close game vs WSU were because our two best linemen were out and a walk-on non-scholarship guard was starting. If you've been watching how Oregon and Marcus Mariota are playing you know how good they are. I know some players on the team personally, there was a player only meeting a few weeks ago led by Mariota that was apparently a huge turning point for the team. Every player is all in, national title or bust. Never seen more big hits by a team than Oregon had on Stanford last week. Don't sleep on the Ducks.

Re: There's a Crimson Tide heading to Louisiana. It's going to destroy Tiger Stadium!
A couple of things.

LSU is 64 - 4 At home in Death Valley at night under Les Miles. This means of all the years Les Miles has coached LSU, he's lost 4 night home games, EVER. Also, he's 24-23 when trailing in the 4th quarter.

That said, LSU is a very one dimensional team, they can only run the ball, their QB blows, but they've never had great QBs under Miles. So, we shall see.

If LSU can keep it a low scoring game they have a good chance at winning. LSU cannot keep up if Alabama scores like 30 or so. Also, remember, Alabama is TERRIBLE at field goals. Always have been under Saban.

Either way, it's going to be a good game.

Here's the really nuts part. If LSU beats Alabama, Then Alabama beats Auburn and Miss State, and Ole Miss beats Miss St you're looking at Miss State, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU all with 2 losses in the SEC West... and All to each other. This means they have to go 7 deep to figure out the tie breaker.
