Just as your body will adapt to simple sugars for fuel, your mind and soul will adapt to the quick "high" of immediate gratification. It isn't making people lose brainpower. In fact the information age is a massive step forward in global intelligence. Don't fall into this ridiculous urge to call information tech a bad idea. What you are trying to say is old people feel stupid when failing to use new technology.  You must be too young to remember what people were like before all this so-called "technology". The dumbing down of society continues apace, and the diminution of the necessity of human ingenuity and problem-solving skills by computers of all stripes has played a huge role. But keep right on shilling (or living in ignorance, if what you wrote is truly what you believe).
