The difference is easy.
When Russian planes fly overhead the people below fear them because of the last 50 years.
When American planes fly overhead the people below used to breathe easier.

Of course the more recent history is American planed attacking Christians in the Balkans to benefit Islamists but that's the recent history promoted by progressives and recent Democrat regimes which designate Christianity a mortal enemy.

It didnt use to be like that.
