OK, Just for giggles let's have some particulars. In what campaigns did you serve and what ribbons do you have? What was your BDE, BT and CO. Who was your XO during your firebase OP and ranking NonCOM? Must have been some pretty tough action.

I sat on e4 for 6 years. Didn't want to be some shitty NCO. :) The NCO corp, the corp of "not-exactly-an officer, but-quite-close-to-officer,but-cant-sign-shit, officer." :P

E4's with the Knowledge of shitbag nco's "where you are...I will never be." :)

I even had that phrase under my collar 24/7 lol. It's called the E4 Pledge.

So you admit you never even made it out of the lower enlisted ranks -- pathetic.

If you were Army, being E-4 for 6 yrs is nothing to be proud of, though I can forgive it if most of that time was spent as a CPL.

I finished my first enlistment as a Sergeant (E-5) -- I would have felt like a failure if I hadn't at least gotten that far.

I only spent a short time as a SPEC -- before I was selected to be a Corporal (junior NCO, and those who have been in the US Army know you have to be a BADASS to be one -- otherwise you can just be a SPEC).

Nope. I was not going to waste some shit on the welfare army and use some of my GI Bill to make points.

I wasn't that stupid...thankfully.

My time in combat was all served while on Active Duty -- I joined the reserves after 9-11, hoping to join in the fight, but my unit never deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan ...

Doesn't matter though, I did my time in war (Panama and Desert Storm) ...
