I would much rather have an openly aggressive leader who spreads his national dictum for the world to see than one who plots secretly and invades other nations on the pretext of "humanitarian aid" - a deceitful action that is far more diabolical what Putin attempts. He also presents the image of a man who cares for his nation and not an Obama who works steadily at erasing the 200 years that have come before in our own.

What was once the American middle class - those who worked hard to rise above poverty to achieve a higher standard of living- are largely gone now. We are left with the haves and the have-nots and the gap between them is widening slowly but steadily like blood oozing from an open wound.

Truth be told: the United States stopped being a world power in economy and global enlightenment decades ago. But more importantly, we have lost the one thing that held us supreme above all other nations: a MORAL base upon which was built the balance of our national ideologies.

Old-timers link it back to the day when the phrase "...under God..." was taken from our Pledge of Allegiance. Still others claim it was when prayer was removed from schools - but whatever the root cause, we have decayed as a righteous society to one of debauchery, perversion and corruption never before seen on our shores. Of course, it can also arguably be said that we were never righteous and merely cloaked ourselves in freedoms that were never really free at all.

The truly sad thing is that in this downward spiral we have dragged the rest of humanity down a few notches right along with us, for they still believed that "As America goes, so goes the World!."

It's about time somebody put on the brakes, said "enough," and started to return our planet to one of respect - not only for it's inhabitants but also for Terra itself.

Or: perhaps we really are simply OUT of time.
