holy cow, they get $1900 if one of their family dies from Ebola?

No wonder it's spreading, they are probably infecting eachother on purpose.

$1900 US in Liberia is like a million dollars.

I just read somewhere that the Firestone plant was the only plant in Liberia that had a handle on the ebola situation.

It's basically a fort and once the outbreak hit, they separated the sick from the well, and let no one in or out.

And $1,900 is a shit ton of money for Liberia.

Firestone is not American. They were bought out by Bridgestone after they were fucked by Ford on the big tire recall. Bridgestone is a Japanese company that sells their crappy tires here under their own name and the Firestone brand. Many people think Firestone is still the same company that has been around for a hundred years, but they're not. I don't think they have any American made tires.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
