California Fuji User ID: 60359 United States 07/29/2006 01:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I haven't tried aspartame, but small ants won't take cane sugar (which comes in small crystals) either, they need a little moisture before they can notice it (taste or smell it). I've seen them examine sugar crystals and ignore them, until I wet them, then they get excited. Soapy water kills little ants, like argentine ants. I get some concentrated biodegradable detergent and mix a bit into a fertilizer dispenser and spray around the house. If I find a nest I soak that area with it. It kills the ants on contact (within a minute or two), and smells good too. I spray it around on the plants to to get the aphids and scale that the ants like to farm. Also, if I find a nest I can set my sprayer on "stream" and blast a hole down into the dirt to try to zap out the nest faster. This is a contact killer, doesn't have any residual kill power. As soon as it drys the ants can walk over the area with no problems. Also, if I don't spray too heavily it may not kill the bigger insects which I Ok with me, and it doesn't kill off lizards and other small creatures, but it gets Argentive ants pretty good. |

(Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants). The methanol toxicity mimics multiple sclerosis; thus people are being diagnosed with having multiple sclerosis in error. The multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, where methanol toxicity is. (Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants) Killed by their own poison? |

Quoting: Bear 121339I can believe it. Let an aspartame soda sit in a hot car for a few days. Put in the fridge later and drink it as your normally would. They taste significantly nastier than before! |
