Many children in public school do not get lunch, because they cannot afford to pay for it. However, this will not be immigrants. Their school lunches will be paid for by American taxpayers.

Anyways, as much as this SHOULDNT be happening, you can't punish the children for their parents crime. Id rather feed them if they HAVE to stay here than let them go hungry. You guys still are Christians, right?

Many schools have adopted a policy of 'no child goes hungry' and provides a basic lunch to any child who may have forgotten theirs, or may not have money in their account, or whatever.

My district and all of those around me supply any child wit pb & j sandwich, apple slices, milk, and cookie- free of charge- any time a child doesn't already have a lunch, or a means to pay for it.

Nobodies saying make the children suffer, its just that culturally the people who erected these social systems understood that culturally most would only take advantage of this providence as a last resort, not a planned for occurrence. We presumed there would be minimal abuse of the need, as personal pride would create a check balance against frivolous reliances z culturally this is no longer happening.

Either every kid gets a free lunch or none of them should.

Give each child a basic lunch. And if they want more they can pay for the extra.

This way no kid goes hungry.

it's probably why Mooshelles lunch program is half a cookie.

Yup...Every gosh darn one of them, plus any and all ppl on welfare are automatically approved. Yet military families suffer when spouse is gone and don't quality. We use our tax dollars in the wrong way & on the WRONG ppl every day.
