Was the Ark of the Covenant real? What was Stonehenge used for? Did 'magic' exist at some point, if so, does it still?

Oppenheimer allegedly said after the Bikini Atoll bomb test that it was the first nuclear test "in recent history." When was the prior atomic test and who was responsible for that?

I know you're hesitant to give this into out, I'm just a lost person searching for ...something (anything)
:(

Read the New Testament, much is omitted but there is still value there.

More truthful and closer to what he knew than something else?

Just checking bc I have mixed feelings about religion/religious teachings.

Just want spiritual truth.

But if you suggest that, I will go to the thrift store and buy one to check out.

If you are really the one who is seeking spiritual truth then you should know someone already appeared in 1984, but strangely, word of him has not spread.

Bumping this awesome thread again. Anyone in here played Final Fantasy series? FF7 is all our spiecies history hidden in a video game. You have it all there, magnetic reactors, anti gravity, bird mounts, the ancients, airships, space travel, weaponry, god, inner realms, materia, atlantis, artificial created autonoms.

Its all there for the eyes that can see..

Dig into this and learn more, thanx OPyoda
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73380999

think that had to do with rv'ing in a "creative" manner
the person either was taught of all these things prior to making the game, or during their "invention" of it's storyline they unknowingly tapped into ancient tales and thought of them as basically their imagination at use creating pure deep fiction...
ive played every one of the games, ffbe currently, included.

i imagine imagination is a semi form of naive remote viewing or something similar, to an extent.

i know you stated the earth is not hollow and that any misinterpretation of it was due to the vast underground networks witnessed first hand by tale tellers, is there any truth to olaf jansens story, keeping in mind it rather takes place in an underground bunker rather than a "hollow earth", with its tales of singing giants, monorails, and the rest?

second question, any significance to house cats, specifically, in the past were they engirneered in any way for the benefit of "helping" humans, like, their pur holds a calming frequency, or their overall nature and "aura", for lack of a better word, create peace and a better emotional/physical living standard when intune with a companion/owner/master/etc.

are bugs nanomachines (once again, for lack of a beter word) created in the ancient past for specific purposes, that have currently gone wild/simply repeating their intended cycles as created/fully automated. is their anything currently in "nature" that is this type of being/thing/machine which we mistake as "natural" that we observe, or can observe, on the regular, that exist.

On a more personal note, why do you guys believe you're actually entitled to any information?

The thread has run it's course given the quality of the questions asked. However we're curious what makes you feel entitled to information? What would you do with it if you had it? Provided all or most of it was true how would it change your life?
 Quoting: Alterwelt

I do not feel entitled. I feel grateful.

What I am doing with what I have been able to glean so far, between questions, answers, and various motives and goals, is improving my self.

Improving is the wrong word. Evolving, then.

Some of the info has filled in gaps. Some of the info is validating, in that certain avenues of thought on my part are furthered. Some of the info is revelatory, and a great deal of that which is truth is inspiring, in that I am pressed to further self-evolutionary efforts.

It has already changed my life, and I've just picked up the thread. I read the OP, not the other stuff, and process.

Some of the validations, in that I am picking out a path for myself that has merit (in this maelstrom of ... what is this, specious reincarnating or rescue or what have you) in the grand scheme of things.

It matters, the journey I have chosen, in that it is a path that's not been explored - me.

There is no entitlement. The closest analogy I can come up with on the spot - your information, to me, is as the ancients information storehouses are to you - not an entitlement so much as a gift, or a hope. In the aims of evolving - towards what end, hth would I know.

I got a pretty good friend who fills in the other gaps. Y'all likely know of that one.

I've read some of these before - Alterwelt, Merrick, "I am of the bla bla bla, ask me anything" - never seen a question posed, though.

Not much into socially media-ing, yet ... thanks for asking. And thank you for sharing.

We aren't the beginning, we aren't the end - there's plenty already been done, and can be done again. My choosing the less 'on the books' modalities as my calling - good. I'm not wasting my time, or repeating that which has already come and will come again.

Further thanks:

I can stop worrying about how my actions affect all others. We are our responsibility - I am mine.

Hope this helps. Oh... do I need to submit the post, or are you all and yours getting this enough already?

;-)

Did any of the previous civilizations participate in tattooing their bodies for adornment, ritual, or beliefs? If so, were there any common designs or motifs that were common?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70346368

Greetings.

An interesting subject. Tatoos are an ancient and common art, possibly as old as Man in his general form.

This conversly was why the Smithsonian Institute became so very interested in the precursors of the Amerindians. Mummies were found in North America, so ancient that they were devoid of any clothing but the tatoos remained and their complexity was the first hint of sophistication of these precursor peoples.

Anything about the pre-columbian civilisations in and around the Atacama Desert?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72252708

Atacama desert is interesting due to the wealth of copper, while the immidietaly pre-colombian people were of simple stock the much, much earlier industry is of more interest.

In the tail end of the Pleistocene epoch the desert saw extensive mining of copper which was integral to many technologies of that time, in fact much of what is known of pre-deluvial South America by the North American circles was uncovered in Atacama.

Miners would at times punch into much older tunnels and structures, perfectly preserved equipment, bodies, examples of writing and tools gave the Americans a very good idea of the sophistication of these ancient peoples.

Re: Remote Viewing Ancient Civilizations - a compilation of data.
did the continents and/or landmasses shift dramatically and over a period of hours or days 12,000 , 32,000 , or 50-70,000 years ago flash freezing fauna and flora?
 Quoting: TitoOrtiz

Of course not, a continental shift over the course of hours or even days would result in a total global extinction event of vritually all macroscopic non-aquatic fauna and flora.

There was however a drastic change in climate. You are referring to animals having undigested plants in their stomachs while frozen.

The great freeze was an abrupt phenomenon caused by the shifting of oceanic currents which in turn shift the masses of air but for the animals in question it took weeks to freeze, they did so while eating the remnants of the often equally frozen plants.

Again, how did the people from the first and second high periods handle procreation? Did they use contraception? Given the lifespans, each female could potentially have hundreds of children which I assume would be too much to handle.
 Quoting: spacemanbill1

The first people were more or less alien in their mindset and so distant in time that anything about them would be an assumption.

We know they could and did cross breed between races that were radically different and biologically it should not be possible.

The second period saw different approaches but women could not have hundreds of children, a female could bear between two and three viable offspring, the biological inhibitor if any remains unknown.

Astrology was once part of a great science of divination, a prognosis of future potentials which was known and practised by an advanced peoples.

The future is not set in stone but it can be prognosed with a high degree of accuracy and once, for a very long time entire civilizations guided themselves with the application of mathematics to the patterns of reality.

Dear Alterwelt, in hope you come back I will leave my questions to see if you can tell us something about it.

1. I doubt the original use for Runes was "alphabetic" in the sense of writing lingustic texts. Do you know what they were used for, something technical or psycho-technical, maybe?

2. I tried to reseach the origins of the Goths, but it's difficult due too so many scholars being unreliable, even in terms of etymological reliablity. I reckon they are at least culturally connected to the sumerian legacy.. as these tribes have been recorded as Teuta-Gates, i.e. the Teutons and Goths, though genetically they seem to be part of the only y-DNA haplogroup that developed in Europe, around Ukraine/Turkey black Sea region.

3. I am asking because my own research gives me the impression that the Judaic Tree of Life (Kabbalah) and the Goths (nordic) Yggdrasil have many similarities. Are these two ancient teachings connected?

4. Has the current war in Ukraine something to do with the rumors of an ancient civilisation in Ukraine, some underground pyramids and artefacts found on Crimea and elsewhere?

5. Is there an atlantian base with "alien technology" in Antarctica buried under the ice? is the ice really "millions of years old" as some scientists (climatologists) say, or is it possible that the freezing of that continent was a rather recent and sudden cataclysm?

Is it possible that somebody in India somehow got hold of the dead body of Alexander the Great and handed it down for generations and now it's mummified remains are in one's backyard in a little shrine that not many know of?

What's the real deal between Alexander and Hephaestion?

Was Alexander's mother just another princess with a strong and resilient personality or did she know some good stuff like some universal secrets or something?

The Amazons? Were they real? Where did they live?

Thank You.

I wanna know about the history of pre-roman Italy:

3) Who were the Latins? Did his king Latinus really existed?

4) Were Romulus and Remus descendants of Aeneas?
