What do you think of the new Jersey Jack machines?

Will you be getting a Hobbit when it comes out?

They are really beautiful machines, but I have my eye on the Wizard of Oz machine, never been a fan of the Lord of the Rings.

If you practice enough you will know exactly how the ball is going to come to you and how much force you need for each shot, so its pretty much luck for someone who never plays, but someone who practices daily it is all skill, but sometimes luck does play a factor reaching the astronomical highscores.

Yes I give them names, and I spend more money buying parts and going to Pinball conventions then I do for anything else I own.

Sometimes I sit quietly in the dark with a nice cold beer, longely staring at the seductive shapes and colors of my machines.

Addam's Family is one of the best pinball games ever. I play it whenever we go to Silvercade in Asbury Park, NJ or Yestercade in Red Bank.

Where do I look for a machine that I have been trying to find. I played on it back in 73' to 75' double paddle and it had I believe two rows of letters you had to knock down before you got you're bonus. Might have been one I just can't remember and there were about 8 or 10 letters going across about two thirds up the playing field. Any ideas TIA.

I was the absolute 'true' pinball wizard back in the early 80's

I could play endlessly on many different pinball machines with just a quarter .25 cent. Eventually I'd usually just have to walk away leaving all my free(won) credits up three. Time and time again!

I was a legend!

Here was my main game

I could wrap the score board around zero, again and again and again.

Do yourself a favor if you have the funds and get Demolition Man OR The Twilight Zone pinball machines.

If I had the money , I would buy them and sacrifice a goat to them daily.

Epic pinball games. Especially The Twilight Zone.

i've owned two- Cyclone and Indiana Jones (WMS)

For anyone reading this thread who has thought about owning one in their own home: be prepared to spend additional money to eventually have it serviced/maintained, or be willing to put in the time and effort to learn how to do it yourself.. sadly they break after awhile so you have to have a lot of dedication and enjoyment out of the hobby for it to be worth it
