If you want your film to be popular (and make you lots of cash) you appeal to the largest and richest demographic.
The largest and richest demographic in the West is WHITE.
Do you really think those thugs in Fergu-Stan will ever go to see a Star-Wars film?
This is a historic moment.
The Juuws have reeeealllllly shot themselves in the foot by alienating white fans while simultaneously trying to appeal to a black population that will never go and see the film anyway!
Well done Disney; $4 billion down the toilet.

Of course you are right, millions of nerds will go and see the new film and then realize the main character is a poor actor and only put there to make the film look "diverse." BUT for every person that does go to see the new film there will be another one that will stay at home. Big bucks come from WHITE actors; not from black actors.  you do realize that the majority of people are not racist. the view on black actors that you have is not a view most people have, period. or did you forget how many people made it out to see 12 years a slave.
