So if I understand the story correctly, a white guy was protesting and came upon a small group of thieves robbing a radio shack and he tried to stop them and one of them hit him with a hammer? I was there and yes a protester was hit over the head with a hammer. The perpetrators of the violence were anarchists, and I believe them to be Black Bloc. They had their own agenda and peace was not a part of it. When they began looting a Radio Shack good samaritans jumped in to stop them, myself included. But we were outnumbered and they were very violent. I took off because that wasn't what I signed up for.
