The important thing here is that Officer Brown returned safely to his loved ones at the end of his shift. </BRIEF>  Did you know it's not a cops job to give medication to your retard? So he answered a call that was not his job, perhaps setting aside actual duties, to act outside of legal capacity under the color of law and shoot someone who wasn't taking their pro-psychotic drugs? Being that it's not his job, shouldn't that also mean he has no legal immunity? Cops have to respond to all calls for help, they can't pick and choose...when they are attacked, which I suspect happened here, they have the right to defend themselves.
