Heads-up. There will be pro-government demonstrations across Greece tomorrow night, to show the eurogroup that Alexis Tsipras’s government has their support.

There will also be demonstrations in support of Greece in other cities on Wednesday night, including in Germany, Italy and Portugal.

How the Greek economy works...

Imagine you are loaned two cows by German and French banks in exchange for half the milk.

But then you hold a BBQ on the beach serving steaks made from the two cows.

Then the French and German banks come looking for their milk.

But there isn't any, so you borrow two more cows, this time from the IMF.

Then you hold another BBQ on the beach with steaks from the next two cows.

Now the French and German banks are looking for their milk, but when they come to see you, you've gone for a haircut... with a note left for the German banker telling him to pay off all your debts for you because his dad bullied your dad at school.

What I just cannot understand about this all is why the Greek people don't take all the socialists out into the town square, pour gas over them and torch them for all the pain misery and destruction of people's lives that they have caused. Can't the socialists see the tidal wave of suicides that are occurring across the Mediterranean countries? Do they feel no shame for the evil that they cause? These socialist scum really, really are the filth of humanity for the raw wickedness and deep suffering that they have caused.

This isn't Iceland, by any stretch. Greece's economy is TIED to the EU. As goes Greece, so goes the EU. You can't just decide to stop paying debts Johnny. SOMEONE has to pay them, and it won't be the filthy bankers or lenders. It will be WE THE PEOPLE!

oh it would be insanely huge...just the fact they are reportedly talking of such shows the potential alliance and lack of any hostility...which THAT alone is huge, if nothing else, because Greece could deny any sanctions against Russia from Europe, since all it takes is one veto.
