Any ACTIVE vinyl / acetate collectors on board?
Anyone collecting?
Starting fresh (youngsters)
Continuing to add (Older farts)

I gave up collecting vinyl when CD's became all you could find (pre internet)

I was in NYC for Thanksgiving and was surprised to see stores selling more vinyl than anyhting.
They were in Brooklyn mainly. Mostly hipsters buying.
And one I saw in Manhattan.

I wish they would press them correctly like Germany used to do;
6 pounds of vinyl will do you no good if not 'virgin' and they are not allowed to cool before being sleeved...

I used to buy German pressed LPs of Beatles, Chicago, Slayer, etc-same as the american version with english text; sometime they had a bonus track that was not on the Tupperware US versions
