you are all immortals unless you turn down your life eternal. you are born eternal. Life is eternal.
That said.. you go thru lots of testing until you becoming God knowing and merge with He that Indwells you, which causes you to be written into the book of life and given your immortal name. Immortals can and do incarnate to teach.
