I went through that while out of the country. Luckily I didn't have to work. Holding room temp water relieved the pain somewhat. Nothing else.

race to GNC,NOW! grab bottles of CLOVE OIL and get some Q-Tips (cotton on a stick) I was SAME with no money, dying of pain.

dip Q-Tip on Clove oil - swab all around the pain area (and baseline of gums on all teeth. wait 1 minute or so, then a mouthfull of WARM water and swish around for one full minute.

repeat every 5 minutes or so. it will take three tofive days to reduce swelling back to normal / no pain / dont even know it is there.

I keep 5 bottles of clove oil ready always (4 OZ from amazon.com) use water pik, + brush with baking soda to drop acid pH levels in moth, then do the clove oil swab at gum line and my bad teeth - rinse for a minute, and my teeth do not even know they rotted.

Get a small piece of cotton (the size of the hole in your tooth). Soak it in clove oil and pack the cotton down it the hole with a toothpick.

That should help ease some of your pain.

Make sure to get it taken care of soon with the dentist.

Abscesses can kill you.

Oregano oil, one or two drops on aa cotton bud touched straight to the tooth . It will taste terrible and feel like it's burning any skin it touches but the relief will be instant. Biting down On a piece of raw onion can also help to kill some the germs and relieve pain.

You can also get one of those Dentek kits to fill the holes until you can get it worked on. They have clove oil in them and it helps.

I have tried the room temp and even freezing water method but it is only a temp fix, the pain comes roaring back with a vengeance.

OP, for the love of god no NOT use bleach. Get some grapefruit SEED extract and follow the instruction to NEVER use it full strength.

That will kill any infection. The advice for clove oil for pain is good.

You will just have to arrange a payment plan to get it extracted. Otherwise, you will get a brain infection and lose 3 years of your life as you stumble around like a zombie.

Try to prevent them from giving you CIPRO (antibiotic) as it will also steal a year or two from your life due to complications it causes.

Whole cloves directly in hole or on tooth. Crush if needed to fit onto tooth. Tastes nasty but it's not bleach! Btw do not put bleach in your mouth!

I hope this doesn't sound callous, but have you considered pulling them out yourself? The roots of infected teeth lose their strength - so it might not be as difficult as you'd think. (However I caution pulling upper molars, because there is a slight risk of the roots being attached to the sinus floor)

It sounds like you need root canals, which unfortunately have a high failure rate.

Sorry to hear about your pain. But I assure you it didn't happen overnight. Get yourself some money put back because if this is happening to 2 teeth it will happen to more.

Now, here is the best advice you will receive from a conspiracy forum:

First, get a copy of the radiographic image taken by the dentist you just saw.

Next, find out who in your town is a Medicaid dental provider. There should be a website for your state. Call the office of one of those providers tell them you have a copy of the radiographic image. Ask if the dentist will accept the same payment from you as they would if you were covered by Medicaid and pay him in cash. I don't care how you get it, that is what pawn shops are for. Don't give me that crap about no money. You've likely got a phone. Go pawn it.

Instead of it being about $400, it should be about $100. Yes, that is right. There are dental professionals out there who take that big of a hit in their bottom line because they agree to participate in helping the poor.

And I am well aware that they can kill you. I believe i had a mini stroke a few months ago.. Heart murmur feelings, extreme fever, cold/hot sweats, delirium..



Thanks, ya, water pik is good.. I don't have one, but should probably get one.. I've been using Baking Soda, H2O2, and Expensive Coconut oil Pulling for combat infection.

I KNOW its infected. I take amoxacillin ever so often to fight it off when it gets real bad. I've used Tetracycline too, (for fish, but works on infections)..

When it swelled up a year ago real bad, I used sterilized needles and Lanced the fucker myself.. I just jabbed like 20 times into the swollen area and squeezed. It was absolutely, Ungodly pain. But it went away after I relieved the pressure.

Now though, since the hole has grown, its the exposed nerve that hurts.. I've been managing to fight off infection for now, but the nerve is just wide open..

Thats why I"m leaning to the Bleach solution.. A couple drops to just eat away and kill the nerve.. But I'm worried that it can get in your bloodstream or something and make you super Ill..


I make pretty good money, but with rent and weekly expenses (gas/food etc) its hard to carve enough out to pay for that all at once.. I'm aware of the possible dangers.. And the rewards for treatment..

If it's infected, you need to take some oral antibiotics too. That will reduce the inflammation. Warm salt water rinse is good, as is a sodium bicarb rinse. Once the infection is handled, the pain will subside until you can get treatment.

FYI if you are over 18 or not a parent with a child under 18, and in Texas, Medicaid does not cover dental. None.
