RCMP Makes Another Undone Omelette - 1st Degree Murder Target Freed By Judge For House Arrest For Christmas

This story from the CBC is an update, which really tells a lot between the lines.

Because the accused name is "Vader" it seems the RCMP is stuck in a Star Wars movie paradigm.

They locked the man up for several months, couldn't make a murder case stick, couldn't make trumped-up charges for other offenses stick either, and re-arrested him last week, with no new evidence, rhyme or reason, given to his defense attorney.

No motive.

The guy likes a solitary life in the country.

Target him, yes.

It seems an Edmonton judge smells something.
