A group of middle eastern men obviously over dressed to look like tourist's were sitting on a tall embankment across the street from anchorage international airport taking pictures and looking though binoculars....Five days in a row same spot, all day. All were riding in the same red sedan.

Re: What's the craziest, weirdest, strangest, unbelievable thing you ever seen?
I've never seen a ghost or a UFO. I really haven't seen that many weird or strange things, but here's what I've got.

One time I was driving non-stop from North Michigan to Tampa Florida with my family in a rental car. I was a bit delirious from the extended travel, but I am fairly sure that what I saw was real. I was in the back seat resting up for my turn at the wheel, and was looking out the passenger side window. We were somewhere near the Tennessee/Georgia border and there was a torrential thunderstorm that was limiting visibility to maybe 20 or 30 feet. As we drove down the interstate, I caught a flash of a naked man sitting on the edge of the highway in the lotus position. He was there and gone in a second, it freaked me out just wondering what the hell a naked man was doing sitting on the side of a busy highway in the middle of a rain storm...

The only other weird thing I can think of was drug induced. I had just taken several sleeping pills and smoked a big bowl of salvia. Shortly after ingesting the salvia, I was paralyzed and saw a shadow person "roll" into my room as if on a skateboard. I was terrified and couldn't move, so I closed my eyes, and when I opened them the shadow man was gone and I could move again.

Other than that, there was one time I thought I saw a group of UFOs but it turned out to be a bunch of chinese lanterns that someone had let loose...

Still waiting to see something REALLY weird...

Re: What's the craziest, weirdest, strangest, unbelievable thing you ever seen?
Cool thread.

The weirdest thing I can recall is that my brother swears that I was repeatedly abducted by aliens when we were kids, but I have no recollection of anything like that.

The scariest thing would be when I was 15, it was picture day at school and I had forgotten my tights for my cheerleading outfit for the picture, so I had to run home really quick to get them.

We lived out in the middle of nowhere and I was driving down a dirt road that barely had enough room for 2 cars. I was going about 45-50 and coming up a hill. There was a truck going the other way and we were both towards the middle of the road, so I swerved to avoid the truck.

I hit the ditch which catapulted the car up into the air and flipped it. I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and was ejected quite a ways out the side window. I landed hard on my back on a large rock and the car was still rolling and was leaning over me about to crush me when it ended up going back the other way and coming to rest due to losing equilibrium.

I was freaked out because I couldn't move and for a split second I thought the car was going to crush me. I was completely paralyzed and since it was in the middle of nowhere the guy in the truck had to leave me to go get help. It felt like forever before I heard the ambulance and police sirens on their way to where I was.

That was the scariest feeling in the world being stuck there all by myself and not able to move. I was just sure that I was paralyzed for life. Luckily, I did get movement back after an hour or two. The doctors said it was spinal shock from landing from my spine hitting that large rock.

I had a huge bruise across my back and still have some scars on my back from the glass of going through the window.

When they were loading me into the ambulance, the sheriff told me that it was a 1 in a million chance that not wearing my seatbelt saved my life and he asked me if I was going to wear my seatbelt from now on. To this day, I always wear my seatbelt. The weird thing was that was probably the only time I wasn't wearing my seatbelt because I was in a hurry.

The car's roof was completely flattened down to the doors and had I been wearing my seatbelt I probably would have been crushed.

The weird thing about the car wreck is that years later my brother told me that my dad had confided in him that he was a 33rd degree mason and had walked away from them. He had received a call that morning that something was going to be done to me.

I took my dogs out to the desert after a big rain.

While chasing a jack rabbit my dog flushed out a second one and they both ran across a stream bed.

One of the rabbits hit a rock and flew a few feet into the air, did a full circle - in the air - then landed and kept running.

The other rabbit ran straight into my other dog and ran between his legs and kept going.

Not the most amazing story you ever heard but it was nothing like I have ever witnessed.

I saw the ghost of a Union soldier in a Gettysburg forest in the middle of the night in 2003. The moon was the only light. I did not believe in ghosts before that night. I usually keep it to myself so people don't think I'm insane, but I know what I saw. A friend that was with me saw the ghost too. It was about 20 feet away from us and I heard it distinctively say "Hold the line". Then he just sort of dissipated into the air.

If anyone wants more details, I will share. I just hate typing out long stories on glp to get no responses.

My friend and I saw the ghost of a Texas reregiment soldier at Devils Den.

The funny thing is, we saw a lots of tourists wandering around and my friend told me "check that guy out" it was a man in a white shirt, greasy stringy hair, with a big floppy brown hat.

We walked away and didn't think nothing of it. After watching a ghost show, I saw a episode where a Texas soldier with a brown hat can be seen in that exact spot, the recreation on the show was nearly identical.

When I was 6 or so, I looked out the window one night and saw a ring of circling lights. I remember at the time (1975 or so) they resembling angels circling.

Not sure what it was but it was there.

This photo was taken a couple of years ago. This is my daughter's boyfriend. They went for a night hike. He was standing on a cliff edge when she took this. He said "I hope I don't fall." Then she snapped the photo...

Re: What's the craziest, weirdest, strangest, unbelievable thing you ever seen?
So, there was this road that allegedly had this mysterious light that would appear....

So, I had a couple of buddies who knew the spot -- it was an old legend, but few knew the actual location -- and they would always put off taking me or going themselves.

Finally, one night, I convinced them.

We brought the camcorder.

We drive down this old logging trail. park. "Just wait they tell me".

So, we sit there waiting for like half an hour... smoking cigarettes... screwing with the stereo and camcorder... telling stupid jokes. All the while, the driver -- the guy who was really hesitant about going, and kept soberly facing forward the entire time -- said "That's it.".

"Huh?" Where?

"There, up ahead".

I looked down the pitch-black road and actually saw a light.

I was like "get the hell out of here, that's just an oncoming car or something."

The driver just keeps staring forward.

The other guy -- with the camcorder -- said "that's it man".

"No-way" I thought, but now I was the odd man out -- and the only person who hadn't witnessed this before -- so.. I stared at the light.

after a moment of hovering, apparently down the road, its starts coming closer, sort of growing in size and brightness, but not in terms of eye-strain the way a light-bulb would.

Then it was coming right upon the truck.

The driver went to crank the truck up; "we're getting out of here" he said.

"No" I said. "Wait".

I asked the other passenger "are you filming this?" He said he was, and I saw the camcorder running, red-light and everything.

Now the light was right up at the windshield. Floating. Bright like a lantern or halogen bulb (that quality) but not strenuous to gaze upon. It was about the size of a baseball.

At this point, everyone could tell that we were having "an experience" so nobody was trying to screech out of there or roll the windows up. The pleasant but overwhelming curiosity had taken us over.

Just then, in a flash, the light dashed into the cab of the pick-up, I saw it dance around the cab, and in the faces of my companions. It was, obviously, a fairy. Not too far off from what you would imagine tinkerbell would look like in real-life.

But, as it was dashing around, mesmerizing, my inquisitive mind kept studying it, being rationally critical of what I was seeing. It was, in fact, like a very large insect that radiated a very intense but peculiar light, but could also appear humanoid of form.

After who knows how long, the dashing and flashing stopped, and we were all sitting in silence. In darkness now.
The driver said "let's go".

I conceded, and the rest of the ride home was full of discussions like "Holy shit! What was that thing?! An actual Fairy? Wholly shit dude? Is this like fantasia or something? What the hell!?".

It wasn't until the next day that we remembered that we video-taped the event -- up-close and personal -- and would be able to share this with others.

And, I know this is going to make it sound like the entire story was horse-shit -- I assure you though, it was not -- but the video went straight to recording static (snow) at the very instant the driver said "There it is".

No lie.

Moved to a different state (wont name the state) but took my elderly mother to change over her Driver's license. Not a big deal ..she's only had one in 2 different states ALL HER FIGGEN LIFE...

Well since her BIRTH CERTIFICATE was in her maiden name they REQUIRE her to get ALL her name changes (3 marriages) as having her Drivers License from another state isn't valid ID.

So to renew her DL in this new state she needs 3 marriage licenses 3 divorce papers from 40 YEARS AGO!!

40 YEARS people....who keeps that shit for 40 years?

Now ..the kicker ...

It's easier for her to renew her PASSPORT and take the passport down to the DMV and use that!!

So basically it's now easier for you to get a passport to LEAVE than it is for you to get a DL's to stay!!!

Re: What's the craziest, weirdest, strangest, unbelievable thing you ever seen?
No joke....

About 20 years ago I was in a Laundry Mat, sitting, waiting on our clothes to dry....

An older black woman walked in and was just walking around, sort of muttering loudly to herself (seeming like she was carrying a conversation with someone else) and was getting angrier and angrier as the moments passed.

I was keeping an eye on her... Especially since she had no laundry with her, no basket, and didn't appear to be checking on any of the other machines.

After about 15 minutes or so, she stopped walking around, came over and sat in the chair nearest to my kids and I. There were plenty of other chairs around, but she took the closest seat to us. This entire time STILL carrying on a conversation with someone (no one we could see.)

THIS IS WHEN THINGS GOT WEIRD / SCARY...

All of a sudden she starts yelling that he hates "black people" (except she was using the derogatory N-WORD instead). She went on and on... Cussing, screaching, saying ni**er, ni**er, ni**er in a much deeper! scary, crazy, hateful voice.

(Okay, so let me just break in here to tell you that my children and I were getting extremely uncomfortable... Had been avoiding eye contact, trying to not stare... But at this point we were all staring at her, sitting uncomfortable close, and were becoming quite frightened of what she might do next.)

So I stood up, as did my children, and we started walking toward the door. (I was going to go "wait for our laundry" in the comfort and safety of our locked car.)

The lady yells out to me (using a little old lady voice) to PLEASE STOP.

The kids and I turned around, and I said DO YOU NEED SOMETHING?

She stood up, came over to us, and began telling me she was WHITE trapped in a black body (again she used filthy language here instead) and that she hated this and that.... Just a bunch of CRAZY CRAZY talk. She said she missed her blue eyes, and then she said to look closely into her eyes and she would show us her blue eyes. (This was beyond BAT CRAZY, but we couldn't take out eyes off her..) Of course she couldn't change her eye color... But we watched for a few seconds anyway...

I PROMISE YOU, right before our very eyes, we ALL witnessed this old black womans eyes turn from a VERY DARK BROWN to BRIGHT BLUE. (No joke here, absolute truth I'm telling you! The kids and I have talked about this for years!). All of a sudden, dark fear came over me... I yelled out JESUS.... And when I did, she started screaming. We were all wide eyed now.

I said "Jesus, please heal her" and she SCREAMED and writhed in pain. She placed both of her hands over her ears and said NOOOOO. (I was so scared, and yet at the same time felt brave enough to touch her arm and say IN THE NAME OF JESUS GET OUT.... YOU ARE HEALED. IN THE NAME OF JESUS.)

She immediately stopped writhing... Stopped screaming... Stopped all the CRAZY stuff.... Sat down in a chair, and started crying. We literally watched a demon come out of this woman. It was GONE!

After collecting herself some, she began talking (normally) telling us a bit about herself, her life, her needs, etc. She was now a very pleasant, kind, gentle woman before us. She stayed in the Laundry Mat with us until all of my laundry was done, and then (I know it sounds strange, but again all true) we took her out to eat with us, and then she asked to be dropped off at an apartment complex nearby, and that was the last we ever saw her.

First it was a UFO when I was 17. A metallic disk object with four huge bright lights in a forest up in the moutains. I was paralysed by that surprise sight in front of me. I was an amateur astronomer at that time, so this came as a big shock.

Second a out of body experience I had when I was 21, which were the first of a series of them, just some months after I had a mushroom trip, which was on itself a crazy experience, so I always connected both things.

Some years ago, I saw a ball of light just floating above the ground some meters away from me, here in Iceland.

Nothing else that crazy and weirdest.

 Quoting: ERE3

Right after he supposedly left them, a lot of things happened pretty quickly. He had a copy machine fall off of a forklift onto him in the warehouse where he worked that broke his neck. He never worked again after that. We were pretty well off before that happened. My mom and dad ended up losing the house and everything.

He was also heavily involved in the American Legion and was pretty high up in the State of Kansas. He was Vice-Commander for the State of Kansas and was expecting to go on to become the Commander for the State of Kansas, but all that just fell apartment right around this time frame. He was also heavily involved in the 40/8 and that fell off in the same time frame as well.

Also, all of his family pretty much cut off contact with us around then. I have family here in Wichita that I probably wouldn't even know if I walked by them on the street because I haven't really had anything to do with them since I was a teenager.

My brother also said that we were all being watched and he swore that my phone was being tapped. We could both hear weird clicks and stuff when we talked on the phone. After he told me that we were all still being watched, one time I did notice that I was being followed by a car and me and my boyfriend were up in my apartment on the floor looking out the balcony to see if the car was still there and there was a guy just sitting in it facing my apartment.

Then, when my grandpa died, the masons came and did some ceremony at his graveside before they laid the casket down. It was crazy all the mason stuff that was at the funeral. There was even a floral arrangement that had the symbols. After the graveside services my dad tried to catch up to the masons and talk to them, but they just kept walking like they didn't even hear him even though I know they did. He was in a wheelchair by this time, so he couldn't catch up to them, but he was calling to them and it was so sad and so weird because they acted like he wasn't even there.

At the funeral, our family (my dad, my mom, my brother, and I) was pretty much not acknowledged by anyone except my Uncle Bruce, who was married to my dad's half-sister.

Also, my brother tried to join them, but they wouldn't allow him in because of my dad supposedly. Why he wanted to be part of that I will never know.

Sometimes, I think that I'm being gang-stalked, but you never really know with that sort of stuff, so I just kind of have to write it off as coincidence.

When I was in the Navy we would go out to sea for weeks or months at a time. Occasionally while we were docked small birds would come aboard, but would not leave by the time we pulled out to sea. We were not allowed to feed the birds at all. After about a month out to sea I was in the smoking area which was a deck on the side of the ship. I saw one of these small birds hop up on one of the railings and with one lean it just dropped off the side of the ship into the sea. Watching the three port authority buildings, which included the twin towers, all collapse in on them selves at free fall speed after only a few hours of burning left over fuel oil, office furnishings, and paper.

Re: What's the craziest, weirdest, strangest, unbelievable thing you ever seen?
I suppose I'll do it chronologically.

When I was about 5 years old my family and I were living in Staten Island, New York. We had a great big yard and there was a huge lot between us and a major highway. We had a garden on the side of the house. One day I was running out of the house full speed to go play outside and I start running towards the side of the house where the garden was. I instantly froze when I saw what I can only describe as a tech... pixie!!! It froze me with fear and I remember noticing that it looked so artificial... technological, its hard to explain. The wings were a thin papery material, see through. It was mostly black, white and clear. Can't remember too many details about it but the black lines went through the wings. Not sure what happened after that, may have blacked out.

When I was about 14 or 15 years (living in florida) old my best friend and I would love to go to this subdivision called Shadowrun, the name was so intense we always wanted to ride our bikes over there and explore because it was big and there were trees/mini forests haha. The "forest" in Florida was never very appealing, so we never went deep into it but it was fun enough riding our bikes around the neighborhood at night with tall trees on both sides in some parts. One day, while we were in his parents car we were driving around Shadowrun at night and we saw a blue... glowing orb.. may have had other colors in it, it was near a tree and in a very dark place. I want to say it had more colors but that may be my brain trying to turn it into a jellyfish. It reminds me of a jellyfish. We drove off instantly.

When I was 16 I went to a witchcraft store and bought tektite because the description by it said it was good for contacting extraterrestrials. I've always been fascinated by the possibility of extraterrestrials, they must be out there, or here... or everywhere haha. Anyway, I bought the small stone and brought it home. I decided to put it under my pillow, hoping I could make contact in my dreams or something. I went to sleep.... next thing I know I am waking up to my head facing the alarm clock to my right and I can't move. I can tell that the only parts of my body touching the bed are the back of my head and my heels. Like something had me suspended over the bed. I couldn't turn my head and I wanted to see what was happening so bad but all I could see was the time going by in the alarm clock. For about thirty minutes it felt like something was operating on my soul. I had this strange feeling in my core and it felt like something was fiddling with it, hard at work moving things around doing something!! I remember being really frustrated that I couldn't turn my head away from the alarm clock but I wasn't scared. (very strange because I am easily scared by things like this, or at least I think I am?) I get dropped down onto my bed and I get up and go to the bathroom like I normally would when getting up. The entire time I'm hearing strange electronic sounds in my head, whirrs buzzess beeps, sounded like a computer or something but not exactly. sounded more advanced haha, I heard this for about an hour and a half and it persisted on my walk to school.

When I was about 17 my friend and I were in starbucks and we were stoned silly, laughing and having a good time. I notice this guy in a suit walks in, caucasian male, perfect suit. He sits down across from us and grabs a newspaper. He never orders coffee or anything else and I notice him glancing up

There have been other strange little things that happened in my life like finding a pile of metallic dust in the living room on the tile. Feeling like I'm not alone when I'm young. Street lights go off around me to this day, can't figure out if its normal or not yet hahaha. Recently I saw a huge circle appear in the sky (while walking to work in morning) and I braced myself thinking it was an explosion but it persisted for a second longer and made no sound at all, it was a perfect circle and the way it appeared was like a line going around completing the circle and filling in the light, thats a horrible explanation but its hard to describe at the moment. About the size of the moon. It zoomed away into nothing. didn't look too far either. After that I had all of these ideas/visions flooding into my mindas I continued to walk to work, I wrote them down. -

"I grow up, see demon ritual, demon destroys shit, I destroy demon with holy powers, I spot ship, meet alien, alien explains reality I knows is set for cosmic movie((I remember the alien I met by the ship explaining so many things like how they pulled the demon from a dimension where they exist and they learned how to fight them with "holy powers" from the people living in this dimension surviving against the demons lol)), gives me option stay on earth or go to planet that has work available, I speak with family, family decides to go to planet, I boards ship with family and gets put in stasis, I wake up to bustling planet then flashes to hellish red looking place, then wake up on ship with android directing wakig crew, android analyzes me, realizes I am thinking about dream he had about other life, android might know of possibility of multiple realities, android explains to me this is my squad waking up around me and I grew up in space training to do some job?"

Re: What's the craziest, weirdest, strangest, unbelievable thing you ever seen?

I'm going to send you a link in a PM. I've been hearing good things it and reading your post made me think of it. I've been learning about it, myself.

Edit: Oh shoot! I can't send a link. I can receive from you but can't send.

Someone upgrades me from time to time. I am pretty sure he will do it again. I just have to ask. I have put off asking because I don't want him to feel obligated. Anyway, I'll ask and I'm pretty sure he will do it. I'll send you the link once I"m upgraded.

No lie.

GLP -- first online place I've ever shared this story.

By any chance, was this in Missouri? There was the same thing going on there several years ago.

If it was the Hornet Spook light that you are talking about, my husband and I drove out to the area and tried to see it ourselves. We did think we saw it that night, but only at a distance. We were hoping for a more up close and personal experience.

YES! That's it. I went there, once, too! I had about the same experience you did and never went back.

Re: What's the craziest, weirdest, strangest, unbelievable thing you ever seen?
I was walking through the woods of Michigan's UP in the early afternoon - a few hours before sundown. I was alone, but packing. I was a fairly thick woods, with trees that were very old and very tall.

I had hiked about 5 miles into the forrest when, for no logical reason, I stopped dead in my tracks. The hair on my neck stood on end - i could feel the electricity in the air. SOMETHING was out there watching me.

I pulled my handgun and crouched down to hide. Then I realized how stupid that was - it knew i was there and exactly where I was. I was at a disadvantage because I couldn't see very far from the crouched position. So I stood up again.

I didn't move for over 5 minutes, but the feeling never left. I was in danger, but i didn't know from what.

I'm not sure if I noticed movement, or just happened to look up - but sitting very high in a thick tree was the biggest cat I have ever seen. It was jet black with a very long tail. It was looking directly at me. If I had taken another 15 steps, I would have been directly under it. I'm glad I will never know if it would have pounced on me. It was not sitting in a relaxed position - it was crouched and ready to move.

I stood looking at the cat for at least 2 minutes, deciding if I should shoot at it or not. I decided I would probably miss and who knows how the cat would react. I took one step backwards - the first time I had moved in a long time. The cat didn't move at all. I took another, still no reaction. I walked backward with my eyes on that cat until I couldn't see it any longer. Then I started a controlled jog that allowed me to look in all directions. I never again felt it's presence, but I knew it could come at me from any direction and I continuously scanned 360 degrees, with my gun in my hand, until i retraced the 5 miles and got out of there.

The damn thing was huge...
