When I was 6 or so, I looked out the window one night and saw a ring of circling lights. I remember at the time (1975 or so) they resembling angels circling.
Not sure what it was but it was there.

Small being a bread box medium being a doghouse big being a pickup truck I saw the circle lights, too. Multi-colored, late 1970's in Southwestern Illinois. However, we lived close to an AFBase and people kept saying that was what it was. I saw it twice.
