I had a freak accident in 2008! I was getting up into my husband's lifted truck, when I slipped and fell. I came down on the curb. Basically curb stomped my ankle & it shattered. Crazy freak accident. I was a Bar Manager at the time & lost my job, because I was unable to be there due to my injury. Too many surgeries, it has been a long six years!! Thank you for asking. And thank you everyone for your support! I also want to let everyone know ... Keep the support & comments coming, it REALLY helps to keep my mind busy and help me not focus on all the nerve & phantom pain! {{{HUGS}}}

Lyrica 50mg 3x daily, Oxycontin 20mg 2x daily, Oxycodone 10mg every 4 hours & Ativan 1-2mg every 6 hours. Also two other meds for my stomach. Too many pills, but they help!! I still feel the pain even on all these meds. The phantoms are the worst!! Before my ampution I was on a high dose of Gabapentin which honestly didn't so a thing for me, but I really didn't have nerve pain then. My pain clinic doctor insisted that I take it along with my pain meds.
