I lived near an area where people would shoot at the cops, ups, fedx, and people shopping for real estate. It happens, but nothing to worry about and could be a personal issue.
From reading and hearing the stories around my area the cops just drive away as fast as possible before returning with a large group trying to make a presence known.

Street justice doesn't make much sense sometimes, unless you know the players and the area.
