Most old mopars are simple as hell to work on.

No coolant through the intake.

The water pump is completely isolated from the timing cover.

Simple sheet metal timing cover totally isolated from coolant.

Distributor in the front.

In my experience they are by far the easiest old engines to work on if something rarely ever goes wrong they are built like tanks.

Bp-RB-426 Hemi's have external oil pumps and can be simply and cheaply modified to adjust oil pressure without going into the motor, how sweet is that?banana2

I had a 69 visa with the slang 6. It was easier to pull the distributor to set the points than trying to do it in place. I'd really like to have that car back but... $$$

Anything you can do to a 360 you can do to a 318 and the 318 will rev higher plus no forged crank in a 360.

He has about 323 cid 37 less, less torque. I think a 360 can match revs.

I have a good buddy in Alpine, Ca. with a collection of Mopars. Some of you guys will appreciate some of the other stuff that he has built on his property. This video was done by Nicole Johnson, monster truck racer.
Enjoy!
