The nags will be so outraged that Mr. King called those 2 prospective college students animals, he will eventually have to apologize on a national stage.

If he had a gun and used it on them, there would have been protests and outrage in the community over the excessive force that he used to defend himself. He would also be in jail for using a gun. Branded a racist for not taking the punishment.

If the police would have seen it, they would have opened fire and killed one or both and they would have Al Sharpton up there bitching and complaining that these youth were victims in the series of events.

These "protests" are about the right to commit crime with impunity. Anyone who disagrees with that, you're being played. "They" might want an excuse to take away the guns, but this ain't it. You can't tell me any nonviolent gun owner is going to be handing in his only means of defending his family when there are people like this running around. All of us peaceful gun owners know who to worry about more. Cops hassle us over speeding tickets; they don't generally attack us. Note I said "generally." Some are abusive, and most law abiding people trust, often wrongly, that the scumbags will be dealt with, but the fact remains, most law abiding folks will call the cops when they need help, and don't have any personal problem with the police. I can guarantee you, the average American fears hood rats way more than he fears police. Using examples, like the shooting of those two cops in New York, as a pretext to take away guns from law abiding people would spark a revolution. Cops have enough to worry about with these idiots. They don't need an uprising of millions of Americans, who mean them no harm, on their hands, too.

Give it time, they are moving there quickly with the diversity housing. Been happening in my rual town for 2 years now. We used to be 99.9% white now we are about 85% white.

you could be right, Obama wants to integrate all white neighborhoods with section 8 housing. even upscale areas. at least there is no bus line here. I'm renting month to month and can move at any time.
