Love that smilie, Ahimsa!

It's my favorite thing to do on a cold blustery
day--like today--just read and read...then read
some more!...We have another blizzard coming...so
I will probably make a new thread, too! lol!

I'm looking forward to purchasing the book:
"Magicians of the Gods" by Graham Hancock. I have
his video interview about some of the material
he is including in the book on the Davinci code
thread (linked on intro page "Edits")--he covers
lots of what Velikovsky must have reported to
Carl Jung when they shared this information. Can
you just imagine Jung's face when he heard some
of this stuff for the first time? It must have
really affected him deeply for him to paint some
of the scary paintings he painted to "integrate"
the information into his subconscious....THAT
was the point to his painting, not to make money
publishing a book on painting! lol!

Cheers!

Maybe I am naive in thinking this, A.C., but
back in the day--like pre 1960's--the "doctor" was
actually someone who was interested in helping people
regain their health. There were "bad apples" in the
bunch, but for the most part I recall our family
General practitioner was practically a member of the
family--they still made "house calls" and you could
call them day or night with emergencies and reach
the actual physican--not an answering service.

Now, of course, the medical industry is dominated by
Big Pharma, and the doctors are mainly "businessmen"
and NOT public servants. I believe that Dr. Jung may
have been part of that "dying breed" of physicians
who genuinely cared about his clients and that he would
never conduct his practice in the way current medical
doctors do. Yeah...crazy people in charge of the
asylums is very true.

Op this is a great thread! I love Jung as well, and I also think he is a master at coding hidden messages. There is much to find in Jung's works, but you need to read it over and over again, meditating on it and dreaming about it like you did. I cannot wait to hear about your "big dream". I have been having some very meaningful dreams lately as well. I dont know about the first painting you posted being a comet though. 5 stars

Thanks for your support! I'm working on the "big dream"
part...Jung called "The Big Dream" a dream that we now
call "lucid dreaming" where it seems as if you REALLY
are in the place where you are dreaming--that it isn't
imagination. I'll post it later tonight...I think you'll
like it.

jung was not mad. the red book is a highly esoteric symbolical piece of literature that most people will not comprehend at all. Therefore when people don't have the necessary understanding to grasp complex symbology and deep artistic meaning, they claim the person expressing these things is insane.

Well said...and I would just add, especially if the
people doing the analysis do not have a proper "context"
for what the author is writing about. Just like the work
of Leonardo Davinci (who had his own agenda and was known
to be secretive--even writing his notes backwards and in
code to avoid their translation)...Carl Jung didn't WANT
everything that he knew and thought to be totally transparent.

Yes. Well said.
It is strange because I do understand much of both Carl Jung and Leonardo DaVinci's work after having a Near Death Experience.
It speaks to me.

It is however, almost impossible to help another understand.
It is something that must be found for ones own self.
There are many mysteries which lie inside you.

Under certain circumstances- the Key is found and mysteries open up unto you. I am still learning myself.

I enjoyed the video with the "whispering" and showing of The Red Book very much.

There is a certain group of people out there whom are in service to others always. They have discovered much about the Spirit, Body, Mind connection and understand how to keep these in Balance. It is of the utmost importance to a real physician. These ones recognize each other immediately.

Be careful before you label someone as "insane". Most likely they are at a higher level of understanding than you and have "gifts".

Carl Jung was not insane. Quite the opposite. He was found. Discovered much. Dug deep. Only the Brave venture into this territory. It is extremely dangerous and you will not return the same person.

Interesting insights Goddess.

I hope when you said: "be careful before you lavel someone
as "insane."...that you weren't getting the wrong idea
about this thread. Sometime we are busy, I know, and we
only READ THE TITLE of the thread and skim the material.
That being said, I made the thread because I DO NOT BELIEVE
JUNG WAS INSANE...NOR WAS HE DISTURBED. (That's for anyone
who is confused by the thread's perspective and not just
you, of course.)

That Jung made some very unusual paintings, is certain.
However, as I have said already several times, without
KNOWING the context for those images, they could easily
be misunderstood. And, this is especially true because
if--like Jung did as a self-proclaimed practitioner of
"ART THERAPY" for reducing one's anxiety level--you did
NOT know that some of the images were a direct result
from scientific information not available in the general
public from his friend Immanuel Velikovsky...the subject
matter of these "art therapy sessions" which are in the
"Red Book" are going to be very odd indeed!

Thanks for your in-put. Carl Jung was one of the great
minds of the 20th Century.

Revisiting this older thread on Dr. Carl Jung due to
some very interesting developments in spaceweather
"soft-disclosure" this past couple of months on the
Solar Micro-Nova Clock Cycle of 12,068 years by Dr.
Douglas Vogt. Understanding the FULL DISCLOSURE which
Carl Jung would have received from his secret relationship
with Immanuel Velikovsky (now 60 years later) can help
us to understand the CONTEXT in which Jung created his
many "disturbed" paintings.

CJzMandalla

In fact, magazines like "Psychology Today" and "The New
York Times" did their own expose' on Jung's paintings shortly after
the publication of his art book "The Red Book" by Jung's estate. Here
is a link to the articles (they thought Jung might have
been having "psychological issues"--which is rather funny
--when seen in context with the horrifying information Jung
would have received from Velikovsky. Jung was, NOT just
disturbed by the "coming catastrophe" but in his talent
as an artist, was "processing" the information Velikovsky
shared to diffuse it in his subconscious.

The articles in both magazines dealing with a theory
that Dr. Jung was "possibly mad...having helucinations
...and facing skitzophrenia" were ONLY BECAUSE THEY DID
NOT SEE HIS PAINTINGS IN THE CONTEXT OF "INSIDER INFORMATION" and had they been "in his shoes" most likely
would have "lost-their-shit" too! lol1

2 New important threads for you:
Some very interesting NEW INFORMATION about the "secret
friendship" between Dr. Carl Jung and "rogue scientist/
psychiatrist" Immanuel Velikovsky--and WHAT JUNG WAS TOLD
ABOUT A COMING GLOBAL CATASTROPHE--has surfaced on GLP.
A "soft-disclosure" by Douglas Vogt on GLP by "Adragon"
with a featured video TELLS the rest of the story we never
knew about "disturbing information" Jung would have received
from Velikovsky's research which EXPLAINS JUNG'S PAINTINGS!
This is my new thread--lets look with FRESH EYES at
Dr. Carl Jung's "The Red Book" paintings and SEE the real
"context" in which he would have created "disturbing images."

Re: "Founder of Analytical Psychology," Carl Jung Called "Disturbed" Due to His "Red Book!" Video
Jung's Red Book is essentially a diary of his mental/spiritual evolvement, as he experimented with different techniques, some classical, and some of his own design.

Where Freud taught about taking symbols from the mind for diagnostic purposes, Jung experimented with placing symbols into the mind to achieve desired results.
