at the end of the day how can you not call these people disturbed ?

Look at the crap they were into, they can't prove any of it but they're supposed to be venerated ? They get to decide what is mental health and what isn't ? Look at them !

Crazy people in charge of the asylums.

Maybe I am naive in thinking this, A.C., but
back in the day--like pre 1960's--the "doctor" was
actually someone who was interested in helping people
regain their health. There were "bad apples" in the
bunch, but for the most part I recall our family
General practitioner was practically a member of the
family--they still made "house calls" and you could
call them day or night with emergencies and reach
the actual physican--not an answering service.

Now, of course, the medical industry is dominated by
Big Pharma, and the doctors are mainly "businessmen"
and NOT public servants. I believe that Dr. Jung may
have been part of that "dying breed" of physicians
who genuinely cared about his clients and that he would
never conduct his practice in the way current medical
doctors do. Yeah...crazy people in charge of the
asylums is very true.

There is a certain group of people out there whom are in service to others always. They have discovered much about the Spirit, Body, Mind connection and understand how to keep these in Balance. It is of the utmost importance to a real physician. These ones recognize each other immediately.

Be careful before you label someone as "insane". Most likely they are at a higher level of understanding than you and have "gifts".

Carl Jung was not insane. Quite the opposite. He was found. Discovered much. Dug deep. Only the Brave venture into this territory. It is extremely dangerous and you will not return the same person.

Interesting insights Goddess.

I hope when you said: "be careful before you lavel someone
as "insane."...that you weren't getting the wrong idea
about this thread. Sometime we are busy, I know, and we
only READ THE TITLE of the thread and skim the material.
That being said, I made the thread because I DO NOT BELIEVE
JUNG WAS INSANE...NOR WAS HE DISTURBED. (That's for anyone
who is confused by the thread's perspective and not just
you, of course.)

That Jung made some very unusual paintings, is certain.
However, as I have said already several times, without
KNOWING the context for those images, they could easily
be misunderstood. And, this is especially true because
if--like Jung did as a self-proclaimed practitioner of
"ART THERAPY" for reducing one's anxiety level--you did
NOT know that some of the images were a direct result
from scientific information not available in the general
public from his friend Immanuel Velikovsky...the subject
matter of these "art therapy sessions" which are in the
"Red Book" are going to be very odd indeed!

Thanks for your in-put. Carl Jung was one of the great
minds of the 20th Century.
cheers
