I agree with rice & beans...and honey. Honey lasts forever and it is a good ointment for wounds as well. Where do you find mylar bags? I know you have to get rid of the oxygen in the bags as well. I've heard you can buy oxygen absorbents, but heard you can use hand warmers and they work just as well. Www.usaemergencysupply.com I've bought from them and the bags are nice and thick. Great quality.
