TV / media MAGNIFIES the "problems" in society

Its their job to magnify the drama to keep people watching because television news is a dying medium, and they know this, so they over dramatize every single thing they report on. The world can be a very peaceful place, but thats also only determined by where you live, someone living in the south side of Chicago experiences a wildly different world compared to someone living in rural America where nothing ever really happens.

However I fully agree with you that nothing big is ever really going to happen, it's all just a lot of bored people hoping for something exciting to happen so it can entertain them while they live out their mundane lives. I agree with most of your sentiments though, and taking a break from all of this doom nonsense really would improve the mental health of most of the people who visit this site, and might give them a better outlook on life if they tried staying away long enough, and tried looking at life in a much more positive way.

I'm glad someone sees this. I try to tell people weather is not more extreme, that cold fronts in Florida are relatively normal, and it's only our increased population and media that make the world seem like it's worse, but they don't seem to grasp that... they are nostalgic towards the past and think the world was all peaches and flowers back in the 1950's and nothing bad ever happened... put on those rose colored glasses and believe the lie....

in 1980 there were 56 independant media outlets throughout the western world, today they have been bought and conglomerated into 5 media outlets, all five have jewish CEO. All the Magazines ,TV, Radio are fed from these five channels

Maybe the solution is to seek out unbiased news, or, only listen to the news so they cant use images to manipulate and scare.
