Guesses are welcome...... Take a plunger and start pumping your toilet. If water starts seeping out along the base of the toilet and you hear bubbles, you need to take your toilet apart. Fun Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66650523 I have new toilets, I don't suspect them but I will listen in their direction sometime to rule that out. |

Guesses are welcome...... we have very hard water & when my water heater needs to be flushed it makes suctiony/groaning/clunking noises. Quoting: Minnie Kitty also could be that the pressure release on the water heater is sticking and you hear pops when the pressure pops through It is on the other side of the house in the garage so.....not that. |

Guesses are welcome...... Did you get a Samsung Galaxy recently? Quoting: Sikhed The default "incoming text" sound is exactly that. I think I have heard that! It is a weird sound. Guesses are welcome...... Could be ductwork cooling off after the furnace has cycled its burner, ormif you have radiators then you got air trapped. Either way, don't worry. |

Guesses are welcome...... lived in this house once for like 12 years. right beneath our bedroom window at exactly every 58 minutes, this beep would go off, like the old casio watches. we did everything to try and find that friggin beep including opening up the wall. never found it. it almost drove us buggy. 12 years, a mysterious beep every 58 minutes, no clue where it came from. Quoting: Salt i don't have a clue about your suction cup noise but all i can say is i hope you find the answer :) otherwise, this might help... Great video, I laughed. I could live with the sound except I would feel real dumb if it was an important warning that I blew off. Ya know? |

Guesses are welcome...... Is this a constant noise ore a once in a while thing? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66609665 Acoustics can be funny things. The noise could be originating from the attic but sound like it's coming from the walls or even the floor. Interesting... This sounds good. It is a random noise that is happening a little more often as time goes. I could go sit in the attic sometime to see if it is from up there. Thanks |

Guesses are welcome...... Dryer, fartfan or rangehood vent that has a small spring loaded shutter (where it exhausts). Some of these don't have a balance hole drilled into the center of them. If the wind is somewhat blowing this can spring open and closed because of the differential in air pressures between the inside and out of the house. They can give the exact sound that you are referring to because, it sounds like a bit of suction when they open and close because of the spring balance/pressure. Do I win a prize ? |

Guesses are welcome...... Is the AC Air Handler in a closet on the second floor? If so, you must install a p trap on the drain line, otherwise when the Air Handler turns on, the air is being sucked in through the drain line not allowing the water to flow properly. So one would hear a suction sound in the drain line that most likely has a bit of water in it. That is my thought!(I know from personal experience) Good Luck!! Quoting: ggkm thanks |

Guesses are welcome...... Cheap house. Cooler climate? Might just be a nail loosening up on a floorboard or interior wall. No worries there. Or maybe cern created a black hole that is manifesting in one of your bedrooms. |
