Coptic_calendar
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coptic_calendar

Coptic Christmas:

Coptic Christmas is observed on what the Gregorian Calendar labels the 7th day of January (which is also the date of Christmas in Eastern Orthodox countries such as Russia).

Coptic New year:

The Feast of Neyrouz marks the first day of the Coptic year.
~
Its celebration falls on the 1st day of the month of Thout, the first month of the Egyptian year, which for 1901 to 2098 usually coincides with 11 September, except before a Gregorian leap year when it is 12 September. Coptic years are counted from 284, the year Diocletian became Roman Emperor, whose reign was marked by tortures and mass executions of Christians, especially in Egypt. Hence, the Coptic year is identified by the abbreviation A.M. (for Anno Martyrum or "Year of the Martyrs").

After the death of Shenouda III the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church voted, and the names of the three candidates who received most votes were put in a glass chalice for a name to be picked to be the new Patriarch of Alexandria. The name is picked by 'Divine Choice', by a blindfolded boy believed to be guided by the hand of God.

Why the Orthodox Church Celebrates Christmas on Jan. 7
www.christianpost.com/news/why-the-orthodox-church-celebrates-christmas-on-jan-7-66615/
[link to www.christianpost.com]

“The majority of the Orthodox churches worldwide use the Julian calendar, created under the reign of Julius Caesar in 45 BC, and have not adopted the Gregorian calendar, proposed by Latin Pope Gregory of Rome in 1582,” said Calin.

There are 13 days in difference between the two calendars, the Gregorian calendar being the one long adopted by Western nations.

“December 25 on the Julian calendar actually falls on January 7 on the Gregorian calendar. So strictly speaking, Christmas is still kept on December 25, which just happens to fall 13 days later on the Julian calendar,” said Calin.
~
For Orthodox Christians who have adopted the Gregorian calendar, Christmas falls on Dec. 25 as it does for others, and Jan. 6 marks the Epiphany, a Christian holiday that celebrates the revelation of God the son as a human being in Jesus. For those remaining on the Julian calendar, the Epiphany is celebrated on Jan. 19.

Shape-Shifting Jesus Described in Ancient Egyptian Text

The reason for Judas using a kiss

In the canonical bible the apostle Judas betrays Jesus in exchange for money by using a kiss to identify him leading to Jesus' arrest. This apocryphal tale explains that the reason Judas used a kiss, specifically, is because Jesus had the ability to change shape.

"Then the Jews said to Judas: How shall we arrest him [Jesus], for he does not have a single shape but his appearance changes. Sometimes he is ruddy, sometimes he is white, sometimes he is red, sometimes he is wheat coloured, sometimes he is pallid like ascetics, sometimes he is a youth, sometimes an old man ..." This leads Judas to suggest using a kiss as a means to identify him. If Judas had given the arresters a description of Jesus he could have changed shape. By kissing Jesus Judas tells the people exactly who he is.

Well, what if Jesus only changed the way he appeared to us in our own minds?

Like he looked different to everyone.

Like your mind chose what he looked like?

Or he could have the abilities of a kuttlefish.

and this helped him avoid capture numerous times.

Fascinating! And isn't there a story of Jesus changing his appearance whilst on the road to Emmaus?
Ah, here it is....In the Road to Emmaus appearance to Cleopas and one other disciple as they walked to Emmaus. At first "their eyes were holden" so that they could not recognize him. Later while having supper at Emmaus "their eyes were opened" and they recognized him.

Calendars make me cross-eyed. I believe the catholics refer to the January 7th date as "little Christmas". So, the September 11th date is New years, which is interesting as I believe this is the true date of Jesus' birth. And, the Lovejoy comet now appearing is referred to as the Christmas comet. Thanks for the info.

The Coptics face heavy persecution for their beliefs.

I guess I don't have to wonder why...

People like that used to come to America to express their faith freely and openly, or just without the persecution.

Which Pope do US Presidents meet with, Roman or Coptic?

Who gave the middle east the resources to persecute Christians there?

The Irony of it all.

For Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood-dominated government, more battle tanks and jet fighters are on their way from the United States.

Cairo’s military link to Washington has remained intact, meaning the U.S. will continue to modernize the biggest military in Africa — even as President Mohammed Morsi has decreed near-absolute power for himself and his supporters and opponents battle outside his palace.

"
Initial reports by the Egyptian Health Ministry said 235 protesters, three journalists and 43 policemen died in the violence and more than 2,000 injured, with the death toll expected to rise.[18][24] Many protestors were shot and at least one was burned alive. Egyptian state television aired images purporting to show weapons confiscated from the sit-in protester's camps, including automatic rifles and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Various journalists and news agencies discredited these claims as multiple independent journalists had visited and inspected the camps for weapons prior to the attacks, finding none of the purported weapons caches.[18] A television channel supporting the government aired unverified infrared footage purporting to show Muslim Brotherhood members firing automatic weapons against security forces.[28] According to several political analysts and historians the force with which the military attacked the protesters appeared designed to provoke a violent response from supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood.[29]"

Who is it that shines His light in our hearts?
2 Corinthians 4:6

It has nothing to do with shape shifting.

How can we not perceive judaism's wailing wall and the Islamic Mecca Kaaba and Catholicism's rose goddess - all recreated at what is perceived as the world trade Center complex? Your eyes PERCEIVE what your mind holds. How does a hypnotised volunteer up on stage PERCEIVE a naked audience when they are fully clothed? What is clouding his eyesight? The suggestion that he has accepted as truth, the thought placed in his mind.

How did the blind man not see, then he perceived men as trees then he saw clearly? By believing that Jesus is a "shapeshifter", one will forever PERCEIVE that error in their mind.

Our physical eyes see, but our perception comes from goggles that we wear. Wear rosy coloured glasses and everything is tinted as rosy color. The goggles on each of us are the beliefs which we accept in our minds. The op wants to believe that Jesus shapeshifts. And so he will read that belief into every passage of scripture, only ever hearing himself. It's why Jesus called Peter satan - his mind was on the things of men and could not 'see" what was to happen.

If you want to take it that far, then who is to say he was there the whole time at all and not just everyones imaginary friend?

Wouldn't they try to keep it a secret if Jesus could Shapeshift or distort reality around him?

I can tell it has truth in it because telling a truth like that sounds like a lie!

and in the age of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act!!

When has the public ever been right?

The Egyptians have legends of Shapeshifters themselves. The daughters of Ra were Shapeshifters. That also have a tree serpent named Apep.

Apep

Sometimes depicted as a winged serpent. maybe, that is what it means in Genesis. The Dragons became Snakes!!

The Native Americans also believe in Shapeshifters, the Skinwalker legends from South America to Alaska!

Shapeshifters, The most powerful of the visitors!!

If a Kuttlefish or octopus or Chameleon can do it, why can't the engineers of life itself do it??

The knowledge of the heavenly shapeshifters cannot be suppressed any longer!

I didn't believe in Shapeshifters before, I laughed like you all do! It all fits for me!

This is why they want secrecy shrouding Jesus, he was the elite of elite aliens!!!
