Rap Artist With No Criminal Record Faces Life In Prison For Album Lyrics
He never told anyone to do anything, he just wrote some music.

"The state of California has decided that freedom of speech is a privilege, not a right. Apparently, prosecutors believe that writing lyrics about crime is a crime itself – and one punishable by a life sentence in prison.

Brandon Duncan, also known as Tiny Doo, is in fact heading to trial, as a judge decided that there is legal grounds for prosecuting the man for his lyrics."

american politicians should consider liberating their own country from their own laws instead of trying to save other countries

it seems america is one of the least free, atleast judicially speaking, country in the world

Whoever decided to piss on the Constitution and free speech should be the one/ones on trial.

Maybe the jury will point that out to these fascist fucks.

Yep, we are losing so much of our freedom of speech and expression - we lose a little bit more every Legislative session across the nation - more laws, more restrictions.

It's a bunch of bullshit.

I can't stand Rap but if they take this guy's free speech away then it won't be long before they take my free speech away. It is like everything else....a slippery slop into fascism.

If people don't like this guy's RAP then the focus should be on who is funding his CDs and recordings.

Among the 15 suspected San Diego street-gang members charged in a string of shootings is Brandon Duncan, an aspiring rap singer.

Prosecutors say that shows that Duncan fits the legal definition of a gang member who “willfully promotes, furthers, or assists in any felonious criminal conduct by members of that gang.”

Since they couldn't catch him the right way they made up some bs to catch him the lazy way. Fuckers.

What constitutes a gang? Could I be in a gang because I meet with some friends and we have a slang name we call ourselves?

We are at the tipping point people.

It freaked me out with it's accuracy.

But if a rapper says the same on an album for a zi0n1st owned label, it's just entertainment, right?

Art, man.

You can draw a picture of a murdered person - you can't murder someone and take a photo - you can fake it, though.

If you are perpetuating these as actions you have taken, people may be concerned.

If you call it a song, story or poem, it's a different story.

People are losing their ability to express themselves at all, it's bullshit.

I can say something without an intent to do it.

If someone else's fragile little mind can't handle entertaining an idea without believing it or acting upon it, that is hardly my fault

However, this is a direct result of the dumbing down of the American populous via fluoridation and compulsory 'education' by government drone bots.

Stupid people need to be managed and protected from ideas - they lack the intellectual capacity to differentiate reality from fantasy

It's a shame for those of us capable of being exposed to other's thoughts, ideas and art without crumbling
