If YOU can think or conceive of it - THEY are probably at least 50 to 200 years beyond your imagination! AND I am probably UNDERESTIMATING that by many fold! My un-asked for advice - KNOW yourself! NOTHING else really matters! You are so spot on my friend! The best way to tell that "something" is going on that may affect your life is to know when you are no longer yourself.
