I've been out of the looop the past week, heard so much about this but don't understand the details ... who is that "Charlie Hebdo" person ? was he the head writer or owner of that magazine ?

What fucks me off is how in all these articles they all refer to 'the prophet mohammed' and not just mohammed or more accurately the 'historical figure muslims believe was a prophet.'

All subtle conditioning to make people believe he was a prophet. Very telling.

They sales was up to 30k all they write about was leftist propaganda. Atheists that mocked all religions.
Couple muslims made a terrorist attack and killed most of the Charlie Hebdo crew, but the main guy survived. Was in UK or something.
People did a march and this phrase "je suis charlie" to feel better about the terrorist attack. But the policies of UE contries didnt and wont change.
Mayby they grow some brains when belgium becomes a muslim state.

Some misunderstandings mentioned in this thread, first of all the editor of the magazine is not named "Charlie Hebdo," it's just the name of the magazine, nothing else. Why it's named that, I don't really know.

The editor's name was Stéphane Charbonnier, and second of all, he did get killed in the terror attack.

The confusion that his name was Charlie Hebdo might have arised from the fact that he had the nickname "Charb," possibly.

Going on, Hamaz claims muslims in different European countries experience constant racism and discrimination, and although I will grant him that it does exist, it's truly not an accurate descriptions. All authorities from state to the local "communes" or counties all are extremely focused on the exact opposite, being non-racist, and they actually do different things that makes it seem to many Europeans that they almost treat (some) asylum seekers and immigrants *better* than the native Europeans of each country. Could it not ever get into all these "wah wah'ing" muslims that THAT might be the reason why racism or "hate" eventually increase? It's Europeans who pay in far the most of the taxes, you know? But no, since islam says muslims are automatically better (and more worthy) than non-muslims, they think this is completely NATURAL and logical! Without even giving any thanks and gratefulness for the special treatment they get ("because all we get is from Allah," even if it's really from the sweat and stress of millions of Europeans!).

I already explained this above, Charlie Hebdo isn't the editor, it's the magazine. And so, Charlie Hebdo is not dead.

No, the "main guy," the editor, Stéphane Charbonnier, was among the ones killed in the terror attack.

The remaining contributors to the magazine has been allowed to move in and share the offices of another newspaper, for the time being. New edition is said to come out today Wednesday 1.14.15.

When I first saw the cover yesterday, I read it as:

"JESUS CHARLIE", but it actually says I AM CHARLIE"

The headline reads "ALL IS FORGIVEN"
