My friend, we do need Christ. Why do so many people say they need no one but themselves? We can't free ourselves from this state, only Jesus can do that, truthfully, he is the only one. The Devil has hijacked everything and made it look as though it's his own. The spiritual realm is beyond our full comprehension in this vehicle, we really do need our loving Father as he knows everything that's going on and is much stronger than the enemy. We are no match for the devil ourselves, if we try to say we can do it ourselves he has won us. Christ makes the way for free because he loves us and wants what's best for us, he doesn't want anyone to be taken by the Devil who has no love for us. I used to believe in reincarnation and all that. I found, through research, that hypnotism creates a gap between the mind/spirit connection and allows other influences to get in and create whole scenarios if they want. Ex-occultists, in their testimonials on youtube, say that hypnotism was taken out of the realm of the occult and put in to the main-stream medicinal field. Things are so bad because we continue to disobey moral law, which, is the highest law. If we collectively would stop rebelling, and live under moral law (which, makes true happiness, I'm living it now and my heart is continually elated! Even talking to you about this now I feel elated and full of God's love for you :). If we could live by the commandments (they're built in us, we know when we're doing something wrong and feel good when we do what's right, we can see how this leads to true happiness and lightness of heart), everything, including earthly law and order would naturally fall in to place.
