I always feel a little out of place in them, but I like them. A personal favorite is the Baha'i temple in Chicago. Montmartre was a beauty. For some reason I always end up visiting them at night. They are usually well lit up, and that's how I remember them - shining in the dark. Radiantly beautiful. Love is easy and messy. |

Also - you should know that no gay people are allowed inside the temple. none. Period. Gay people can't get married in the temple..... Actually, mormon's can't get hitched inside a temple anymore. For a married couple to get sealed - they have to present a marriage certificate (not a license, but an actual civil ceremony has been performed) so that they can go into the temple. This is to prevent fudge packers suing the LDS church to get married in a temple. Temples no longer perform civil marriage, only sealing rites of the church, to which gay people are not allowed because they are deviant unholy perverts. |
