I just ran into this article about "Unprecedented: ‘Cataclysmic’ die-off of birds on entire West Coast — Beaches covered with dead bodies — Professor: It’s tragic… never seen anything like this… We ignore it at our peril… Canary in the coalmine for us… Scrambling to figure out what’s going on with ecosystem (VIDEOS)" [link to enenews.com]

It reminds me of the mass bird and fish die off in Arkansas in December 2010. There were thousands of birds that fell from the sky, and about 100,000 fish that died.

The birds died on December 31, 2010, and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said the birds died of blunt force trauma, saying that such die-offs are common. I remember Beck, on the radio, joking that they must have run into Wonder Woman's invisible plane. [link to www.jsonline.com]

It was a day earlier, on December 30, that an estimated 100,000 fish died in Arkansas. It was blamed on the opening of a dam. Here is an article that mentions the fish die off, but it doesn't contain the supposed cause. [link to blog.nwf.org]

Strangely enough, there were tornadoes in Arkansas at the very same time as the die offs. Most tornadoes are in Spring and Summer, not Winter. "Severe thunderstorms on the evening of 30 December 2010 through the morning of 31 December 2010 produced hail, wind damage and at least two tornadoes in eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas" and more at this link. [link to www.srh.noaa.gov]

If anyone was paying attention to the die offs at that time, they should recall die offs in other places as well. Here is a Wikipedia link on the fluster cluck in the US, Brazil, and Italy in a relatively short period of time. [link to en.wikipedia.org]

All this talk of die offs makes me think of the strange sounds being heard around the world, and the ominous layering of those sounds by an AC, which is posted here. Thread: I discovered something interesting about those strange sounds in the sky

It also brings to mind this DOOM video. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] but the thing about the video that really bothers me as to the cause presented in it is that it says that we are in a doomishly warm period while here where I live (USA) it is just the opposite. 81.1% of the US was below freezing Jan 1, and 87.2% was below freezing Jan 7!

Then there are all the strange internet problems that have been experienced by so many. Are they also related? I'd love to hear from everyone, and see what you all think.

Be nice and considerate, though. Debate, don't attack, please.

If I'm not heard from for a while, then my internet has started going down again.

Posts containing ad hominems and other logical fallacies may be deleted.

TBH I couldn't and still can't draw any definitive conclusions.... all I know is the outbreaks of this flu in China were frequently occurring where masses of dead pigs were too. Your guess as to the reasons behind this are as good as mine or anyone else's. But personally I don't believe in coincidence.

Re: Mass Die-Offs: Past & Present
My best guesses:

1. Methane gas clouds (both above and below water).Exposure to high levels of methane gas depletes the oxygen level in the body, causing difficulty in breathing and ultimately suffocation. So, the birds and smaller fish might have suffocated. Depletion of oxygen to the body then gives rise to confusion, memory loss, and poor judgment. Could explain larger animal mass beaching.

2. Some kind of magnetic field anomaly.

3. Something we currently lack any knowledge of.

Dean Wiggington, IIRC, is in the video that I linked to in the original post of this thread, and he speaks of the methane. He mentions "Venus Syndrome" being on the horizon for this planet. It would be nice for someone with in depth knowledge of that to join in here.

I see we have another thought criminal on the thread.

WELCOME ABOARD HnryBwmn!hf

I did think of "All of the Above" after the fact. It was too late to add, though. Hopefully those who would have chosen it will take the time to comment here in the thread.

I will take the opportunity to watch the video that you shared, but it may take me a little while. In the meantime, I did find this link about "Venus Syndrome" (and his name is Dane Wigington, not Dean Wiggington as I suggested above) [link to www.geoengineeringwatch.org]

From the article at the link:

“Venus syndrome” is not a metaphor, it is a scientific scenario. The term should be self explanatory, but just to be clear, Venus syndrome is a scenario in which climate and atmospheric feedback loops are triggered that can’t be switched off. Under this scenario, as greenhouse gasses build up, and cause planetary warming, yet more greenhouse gasses are released which causes still more warming. This trajectory does not end in a balmy tropical resort Earth, but rather a planet that is closer to hell. Like Venus, Earth would become a pressure cooking inferno with virtually no life.

Do you have any in depth knowledge of the subject? All I know is what I read from others.

Re: Mass Die-Offs: Past & Present
The study found MMEs increased by one event per year over the 70 year study period. That suggests a longer term cause than any singular recent event such as Fukushima.

[link to www.sandiego.edu (secure)]

[link to www.pnas.org]

It also found that the MMEs are increasing for birds, fish and marine inverebrates, decreasing for amphibians and reptiles and stable for mammals. I guess answer would be in that distribution. I would also imagine other possible causes you listed would affect more evenly across the planet's biomass.

Re: Mass Die-Offs: Past & Present
Hi, everyone!

I read quite a few interesting opinions on this topic, a few I agreed with partially (as mid-grade factors) and others I did not agree with at all. The problem is that we are still looking at the problem from too narrow of a scope.

Everything is connected, from the earth to the sun, and nothing happens without some kind of repercussion. Even children understand this concept (or spend a lot of time grounded to think about it!) Fracking destabilizes the crust, increasing the number of tremors in a certain area. An earthquake happens here, a tsunami touches somewhere else. A nuclear facility leaks radiation into the environment, and the instances of cancer and genetic mutations multiply to a degree where we cannot help but draw the logical conclusion.

But what if it were something more? What if we took a step back and looked at the magnetics of the earth, being effected by the sun's declining solar cycles, and think on this for a bit?

If our magnetic core's "battery" is dependent on the sun's output (which has been on the decline for quite a while now) then is it safe to assume that all of these things we can observe- mass die-offs of animals and marine life that are magnetically guided, virulent weather patterns (including the first ever recorded class 6 hurricane that hit the Philippines,) strange noises heard in diverse places, and spiral lights appearing in the sky- are all as a result of this declining relationship?

(Look up Suspicious0bserver's research for more info on solar output analysis as it relates to earth's climate-the data is compelling.)

Sure, the Fukushima event was a man-made disaster, but the weirdness has been going on for a lot longer than that.

Also, isn't our brain basically a giant, super "computer" and therefore also affected by the slightest changes in electromagnetics? Could these changes be affecting humanity as a whole, accounting for the mental, social, and even civil unrest we have been seeing lately? I am not saying that there are not actual reasons for people to be upset, but just looking at the degree that we are responding- akin to a pod of whales "going crazy" and beaching themselves. This can't be a coincidence.

Thoughts, anyone?

I also think it is all related, and yes, the planet, and our own brains and bodies, are affected. You made an excellent post that I hope to respond to, but first I must get some sleep. I've been up all night (it's now almost noon!) and I'm thinking I might do a little better after catching a few Zzs. Thanks for responding and submitting so much for consideration!

All your choices have probaby caused a die off at some time. But, none of them are the only cause, there are other causes not listed.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
