Multi-Million disaster drill all next week in my area

Already seen a bunch of military vehicles from Ft. Rucker driving around. This kind of shit makes me nervous.

Houston County is playing host to a regional disaster drill next week. The full federal response exercise was discussed Thursday morning at the Houston County commission meeting.

Seventeen federal agencies plus the FBI will be in attendance.

The exercise will simulate a massive accident that would require assistance from other states if it happened in reality.

Officials from Florida and Georgia will come in to assist with the drill.

“The benefit would be that if we ever have an accident we know which authorities to call and what they can do to alleviate the conditions,” said Shelby Womack of Houston Co. EMA Dir.

The five day, multi-million dollar exercise is scheduled to take place next Monday through Friday.
