My last dog was a german shepherd / wolf... Man she was the best dog I could imagine.

Yucky video. Those are not happy working dogs. They have obviously been trained too harshly. Their movement and tail carriage with the owner is not natural in the least. How sad for those wonderful dogs. That guy is a power jerk.

I kinda go with this. German Shepherds are beautiful dogs, and there is an air of fear here. He's done a good job at establishing himself as Alpha that's for sure...
but what's the point of walking them around in traffic in a huddling herd...to show off ?

This just looks dreadfully creepy.

I've had German Shepherds (as well as Labs, collies, mutts). This isn't how a normally happy, well-behaved and alert GS behaves on a walk.

As others have pointed out, the lack of tail wagging is a crucial clue to their state of mind. And they DO have minds. A normal, contented dog, being himself, just cannot help expressing his pleasure with his tail - it's like the dog equivalent of a broad smile!

Not a video I'd be comfortable watching again.
