Happiest I've been in a long time
I know it means absolutely nothing to anyone here. I have been in a dark depression for a couple of years. It's been pretty bad. I have felt hopeless for awhile.

I don't feel hopeless anymore. I'm happy. Feeling secure and optimistic, even though I'm quite aware of what is going to happen.

I'm not alone :)

Very difficult for a conspiracy theorist/empath/prepper to be happy. At least, for me it was.

It's good now. Just want to put that out there. I have some good friends here, declaring the happiness.

Now, bash away ;)

That’s the thing about progress; all the word means is “continued movement in the same direction.” If the direction was a bad idea to start with, or if it’s passed the point at which it still made sense, continuing to trudge blindly onward into the gathering dark may not be the best idea in the world. Break out of that mental straitjacket, and the range of possible futures broadens out immeasurably.

All my horoscopes state that the DARK time that began in late 2012 (and that's exactly when it happened, starting with my dad's death and including a divorce, more deaths, constant struggle, etc.) ends this January when Saturn left the building.

I'm 39 and have never EVER experienced such trouble for so long. It nearly broke me.

Thanks for posting your experience.

I have to say I've been feeling really happy too. For me, I've been doing several things recently that might be contributing:

1. saying the "I love you" mantra again and again in my head all during the day.

2. Remembering during the day to a) deepen my breathing just a little bit, and b) when I walk and move around, to do so just a little more slowly than usual.

3. I've also been sun-gazing for about 10-15 minutes just when the sun rises and 10-15 minutes just before it sets. As I gaze, I feel/visualize my body/mind/spirit conducting energies between earth and sun. Then I expand out and feel/visualize the sun as one with and part of the hundred billion star galactic cluster of the Milky Way galaxy. Then I expand out again and feel/experience the Milky Way as one with and part of the hundred billion galaxies in the universe. Then I expand out again and feel/experience the universe one with and part of countless universes in the Omniverse. Then I just hang out there.

I haven't been doing the sun gazing all that long, but I look forward to it each time because it's so powerful.

Anyway, for one reason or another, I'm feeling pretty damn good recently.

I'm glad you are out of it too hugs

It was a bad, bad few years and this coming one is supposed to be stellar.

Divorce is rough - it takes a couple years. I'm still not out of the mess, but the immediate drama dissipated all of a sudden and the rest of it seems like a cake walk.

Good luck!!

Re: Happiest I've been in a long time
It is hard to live every day knowing what is hanging over our heads. It seems we alone can see why we prep and plan. It is kind of a lonely endeavor sometimes. I have spent many hours thinking of the futility of preparing for such a world catastrophe. I have no fear of death...I rather expect it. The odds of being in the perhaps 15% who do suvive are very small.

Then I think about the adventures and experiences that are possible and the joy these supplies might be to someone if not me. I am preparing to be able to offer soup to my prepper group and wandering souls. Others are preparing to protect us, others are preparing to doctor us.

When I sit back and count my blessings I find that I am happier now than I have been over the years because I know the die is cast and I have served a purpose, followed my star, and finished in time.

I am happy you are happy too.
